Night Clubs

I was at the Mother in Law Lounge for the first time the other day and while I knew it would be an experience I did not know just how much of an adventure it would be. The club is basically a shrine to the memory of Ernie K Doe complete with a mannequin dressed up to be him. On this day they moved the mannequin out to the "garden" on the side of the club as the band was performing at the tiki bar.
The garden is full up recycled toilets, sinks and bathtubs that have been turned into planters. It is a sight/site to see!

I would love to visit New Orleans sometime

who is Ernie k Doe?

He wrote a bunch of hit or at least popular songs including one called Mother in Law. He was kind of a big deal in New Orleans.
