Boys / Men Carrying Handbags of their GF's on their Shoulder, What Can U Say?  

I think it's cute. Whenever I saw a man carrying their gf's bag, I could say how gentleman the guy is. It's been a tradition a long time ago but now, I rarely see a man do it. I don't think he would look awkward because it can only prove how much he loves you and that he doesn't care what other people think. I guess people will see him will understand why he is carrying a bag.

Well when we were young we used to go on seminars and we had a big group, some girls always had this habit of doing lots of shopping and all the bags boys used to carry. I always hated to do that and found those girls using the guys badly. But out of gentleness boys used to offer to carry the bags. Somehow I never liked that.

My husband wouldnt mind carrying the bag for me and he has dont it many times.Ita we women who set up rules about macho image of man.But practically I feel I need an sffectionate person who really cares than a man concious about his macho image.When I can do anything for him he must not be embarassed carrying a bag for me.

I don't see any problem with it at all joyce! I am disabled and my other half has to frequently carry my bag for me if I am trying to walk with my stick rather than sit in my wheelchair. My 15 year old son sometimes carries it for me too - He also carries hois own bag most of the time - it isn't just us women who want to carry things around you know! xxxx
