why not put a real picture as AVATAR?

Ok, hope you have a nice photo soon. Do one thing. Take a lot of photo either with your mobile camera or a digital one and out of so many one or two would ne nice any way.What if one day I land at B'lore and ask for your address?

Hi Sid, I respect your point of view. This is in fact this way or that way. Even if no original pic and we are stinting together next to next in a flight it would finally lead to mylot if we at all we break into speeches. Nice way to defend.

Yeah, I understand your problem. You believe I was sort of struggling the first couple of days as to how to put my own i pic at the avatar place and suddenly got the idea and now I am there. And please send me your pic then through mail. you have my id I suppose.

It surely would. There would appear delete the current avatar? you need not do any thing but simply browse it from your computer and submit. It would automatically get uploaded.

Nope, I tried it about 5 times, it would not take that specific picture. You'll notice that I change Butchies picture quite often, so I do know how to do it! I did send you the picture via email though!

At the top of the page you will find PREFERENCE, click and open.

In there you will be able to upload your new AVATAR.

Delete, current avatar, wait till clear

then

Use Brouse, to select picture you want from your FILES.

select and upload.

It is all there step by step to do.

Yes, this is an advantage when you have your picture there and we are at the interaction for a long time and if one dauy make it to Australia it would be easier to locate you if you are standing at the airport. What say?

I am hoping for a get to-gether of Melbourne MYLOT FRIENDS.

But this may take some time as not all use mylot every day.

Some have said they would like that so I hope we have enough to have a day together.

maybe near Christmas as we are strting to go into our winter soon so longer to plan would be far better for all.

Thats not a bad idea! WE could pick up a place where all could meet. Say Melbourne is known to all and if it is made a venue for meeting at least people from the Indian subcontinent would be able to take part for all it wont be possible. We have to divide into different zones.

Maybe you could have one in India, you are near Guwahati, is this a big place or are you near a big town or City were mylot friends could meet and have a day together.

Plan well ahead my Friend who knows who is near you.

Also you may be able to gain people as references and have them join mylot all could work very well for you.

If and when we get together, Ill take photos and post them so others can see us.

Not near my home is a t Guwahati and this is a big city. But Guwahati would not do. The best place would be New Delhi for this is almost in the centre of the country and there is no problem so far communication is concerned.

People have their choice, we can only put up the issue. As you are comfortable with the one you are having none is the business to change nut only can say it would be better if all had.

And that if the pic is original or fake would depend how much the person is committed to him/herself.

Yes, no force as such, but a reflect. All have their choice to go with.

You are right on your stand. Many people do not like their picture went to the NEt and the like but I feel putting a real one is not potentially harmful. I have been active in some 4 different sire and everywhere have uploaded my actual pic.

Yes, it is visible. If possible I should put the original one. If you have some problem it is a different matter.

Hi! I am not refereeing to that part but simply wanted to know as to what is wrong in putting the real picture. There are many who are with the original one but still there some who are not. Might be their personal problems.
