How often do you criticized your lover, wife or husband?

Y'know, I try really hard to never ever speak negatively about my girlfriend to other people or behind her back.
I feel that I love and respect her, and I owe her the dignity of not being talked about, unless I'm telling people about the good things.
Any negatives we may have in the relationship (and all relationships have them) are between her and I and should only be talked about with each other.
I just don't think it's fair to talk to anyone else about the bad stuff, because she deserves better than that.

i never criticized my husband. He is still doing fine

Basically if I don't like the cooking of my fiancee, I tell her there is something lacking. I don't really critizise but more on I rather see that it will improve her cooking. I believe there is always a room for improvement. One time I ask her to cut her hair got used to her short hair. But I wasn't that contented seeing her new hairstyle and ask her to see another hairstylish. And she did it and looks better. Isn't it when you love someone you don't wanna hurt her but take care of her well. I don't criticize, but I rather appreciate what she does for me. Anyway have a great day to you!

I try not to criticize them. Especially if I know that they worked really hard on making sure that they have done a good job. We are all critical at times, but I try not to be to the people that I say that I love. I want to be nice and respectable even if I disagree with them.

I don't actually criticize. Although my husband is perfect and also have some weak points, I always make it a point to make suggestion on improvements in a very diplomatic and encouraging way and not directly telling that he has to improve this and that.

Hi torchablazed! My husband and I usually teased each other with the flaws and imperfections that we see on one another but we do it when we see each other in a good mood. I guess we both express it in such a way that we both won't feel that it is demeaning or derogatory. And besides we both can laugh at our imperfections, flaws and faults.

In our relationship with my hubby, we are open about criticisms, sometimes we exchange harsh jokes on it...
COnstructive criticisms will help everyone to improve their relationship and each party should offer support and should be willing to be their to assist each other especially about learning a new skills such as cooking etc.

I would say, we are more of compliments in the house but whenever there are things we need to comment, we give our honest and open criticisms!

I never directly criticized my ex husband but I realize, years after the divorce, that I criticized him indirectly by not complimenting him all the times he did things well and did thoughtful things for me. Such an atmosphere has to be painful and make a person feel they do nothing right. He indirectly criticized me, too, and made me feel I did nothing right so now I'm not surprised the marriage didn't last--indeed, I'm surprised it lasted 19 years! Take my experience to heart, please, and take pains to let the person you love know how much you appreciate them every day.

First off i wouldn't criticise someone I love.
After awhile it pushes the person away from you.
You can let a person know you disagree with a
certain hairstyle or whatever,just be careful to
not citicise.
