In today's newspaper, I saw this article saying that a lady in Fort Pierce, FL called 911 three times because an employe told he that they were out of chicken nuggeta! The loice report states that she told the police that she paid for a 10 pice nugget and was then told that they were out of nuggets. They also refused to give her a refund, saying that all sales were final. The clerk offerred her a larger quantity of different food, but she refused and became irate. The lady who called 911 got a ticket for missuing 911. Okay, when she ordered the nuggets, why didn't they tell her that they were out BEFORE she paid?? And, since when is McDonald's or any restaraunt being out of something an emergency?? I think that this has got to be one of the funniest, and at the same time saddext articles I have read in a long time. What is your opinion?

That's kind of funny, but really, really dumb. The person at the register was as ridiculous as the one who called 911! I hate when people waste police time on things that aren't emergencies. What if someone's grandmother was dying while the police responded to the lady's lack of chicken nuggets?? I'm glad they gave her a ticket.

I find it weird that this person did have to call 911 just because of it. I could have reported it to the government agency that handles this things.I find it wrong that she would not get a refund of what she paid for. It is not her fault that they were out of stock of the product. I think this is just wrong that they have to put hold of the money and never return it when the customer is not wanting any other product they sell. But I guess the customer made the wrong move by reporting it to 911 shocks.
