Who left the voicemail message for Nick?  | |  There is a debate about who left the Voicemail for Nick on Season 9 Episode 16 (the show with Taylor Swift in it).
The voice sounds alot like William Peterson (Grissom), however, the actual message states that he (the message leaver) had been testifying about decapitation by a truck tire (a previous episode from a while back) when he thought about Nick. Which led me to believe it was actually the old guy from the morgue. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Grissom is supposed to be in Columbia with Sara, not in court testifying on old cases.

You never know where he will pop up. Last night was his first so-called appearance. Yes, the message was from Grissom.
