What are the top 10 features of Microsoft word that you use the most?  

i'm not aas computer savy as you. about all i do on mine is e-mail, go to mylot & every omce in awhile i'll google something. i'm doing well to do that. lol.

I am not even trying to go for 10 points, but let me list out what i use most often:
1) page format ( to make the page horizontal)
2) Insert table ( just love this option)
3) Ctrl+ B
4) Ctrl+ c
5) Ctrl + S ( when i am working on pc)
6) save as ( to save in MS 2003, by doing so all my friends will be able to open the file)
7) Format paragraph ( to reduce line spacing)
8) Cntr + v
9) cntr + Z ( cut copy & paste has revolutionized work in offices & increased efficiency by 80% )
10) ctrl + p ( you can blame me for not being environmentally friendly & cannot find fault with documentation)
11)yes! bullets of course ( i use this a lot even though i don't have a gun license )

now you know why i was not going for 10!!!!!

heck i dont know.. i dont do anything fancy with it just write on there..

all shortcuts in word makes it very easy to use it. word has so many features that not everyone use all these. i use formatting, drawing and a few more tools. some options from tools and other menus are very helpful.

i don't think i use up to 10!

For me, i normally use the
heading format,
the content page,
copy & paste,
page break,
BOLD...

that's about all i use.

I use copy/paste, print preview, page view (text width, page width, etc.), word count, thesaurus, and fonts on MS Word. That's 6 features in Word - I couldn't think of any more than - that I mostly use now.

But back in school, I'd use the rest of its feature quite freely. Things like colors, inserting images and spreadsheets, paragraphs, buttons, borders, etcetera. :)

1. Spell check... I'm such a bad speller for a writer

3. Copy
4. Cut
Numbers 2 through 4 are designed to save my often sore fingers from extra or repetitive typing.
5. Columns
6. Numbering
7. The centering feature for text
8. The book fold printing feature
9. Page or column breaks
10. Undo, I make mistakes all the time. Deleting text I should keep.

I had a hard time coming up with 10 features as well.
