Well, obviously, I had no clue today what the right answer was to that question. My boss and I were talking about one of our clients today and this is how the discussion ended --- My boss "Well, he's about 45" Me "Wow, he's that old? I thought he was MY age" My boss (with a very puzzled look on his face) "Uh, how old are you?" Me "45!" with a VERY red face once I realized what I had said. I totally did not think that I was 45 already!!!! I mean, I've known for a few months now that I'm 45, but I guess I never realized that I was actually 45 years old! I mean, that's like OLD! There's no way I can be 45 already, I am just not prepared to be 50 in 5 years! How the heck did this happen, and why did I not know about it??? Yeah, needless to say, I felt like a total idiot!

LMAO!! That's just too funny! Being 45 isn't so bad and forgetting your age...just goes along with getting older. Just wait until you start forgetting other things...like where you parked the care..where the heck did you lay your cell phone down at...why did you just walk into this room. The list goes on and on. You have to embrace every age that you are and enjoy the little perks that go along with it. I'm 54 and my friends and I have a lot of laughs over some of the stuff we do.

I ALWAYS forget why I walked into a room!!! Hey, age is just a number. My dad always loved having birthdays - he said it was better than the alternative!

LOL that's so FUnnYYY.... I also forget my age sometimes...hehehe people sometimes ask me how old i am and i always tell them a number 4 or 5 years younger than my age or sometimes just a random number hehehe then whenever i fill up an application and there would be a age question...i would have to count my birth year to present year then i would get so surprised when i find out my real age hehehe...

Isn't it just amazing how after a while we really don't keep track of it any more. I mean when we're a kid it's a big deal, but as an adult we'd rather now know sometimes!

Hehehe . . . , for the longest time I forgot that I was 45 and all of a sudden I realized I was 50. It's a good age. If you smile a lot and stay happy people think you're way younger . . . it's been a great journey so far.

This really is so not what I had expected at 45... I thought was supposed to be OLD, but I guess I'm not :)

How funny, I once thought I was 33 when I was 32. My kids had to tell me what age I was. So when I repeated it to my twins she said "I am only 32 I do not know about you?" I said "I aged a full year faster because I had my daughter at the age of 19." heehee Now I am only 5 years older than you are. I think it is old age setting in and you are starting for forget things. I think that is called "Old timers"

But I so don't feel 45??? It was really funny because I know I'm 45, but it's not like I'm FOURTY-FIVE YEARS OLD.... We're still laughing about it! Today we were talking about someone he knew a long time ago who became a partner at their firm. The day he was made partner, he had a heart attack in the parking lot - he was only 45. I told my boss that 45 was pretty young... I was kinda joking, but kinda serious too.
