Are you a workaholic? Do you spend majority of time at work, and have less time hanging out with your friends, or family? Some people are more concern about their career, and money making. There is always trade - off with everything.
I also work 2 jobs, but not making that much money, I just want to keep on saving some; and keep on paying my bills on time.

One of the best things about my job (I'm a writer- mostly a poet and a political blogger by trade), is that I can integrate it into my hanging out plans (if I want to see a movie, for example, I will simply write a review of it and get to deduct the cost of a ticket from my taxes; it's a work expense).

I think I am a workaholic.Because I don't want to sleep for more time after my on-line shop is opened. Some times I even thing sleeping is a waste of time.

Hello Clorissa. I am like you too, spending many hours a day at my work, one full time and one part-time. I am working as a business researcher. So, I spend a lot of time on the computer too. I do have to be careful ofcourse, not to overwork. That won't be good for health !
Have a nice day !

I am a workaholic. It runs in my family! If I am not working, it is because I am doing tings that I have to do for my family, or I am sleeping. It takes a lot for my husband to tear me away from my work, whether it be work on the computer, housework, any type of work. He tells me all the time that I need to slow down and take a break! I work, not only because I enjoy working and being productive, but lso because we have goals that we are trying to meet. In order to reach those goals, we have to work hard, I just tend to spend more time working than anything else. I do stop working to spend quality time with my family, because they are second only to God in my eyes. No amount of money could ever replace any of my family members, so I make sure that I take time to spend with them.

We are working to improve our quality of living. But it should be kept within physical competence. Good health is assurance of long time happiness, and proper care to family and children is also a must.
I had some ex bosses, who work day and night. They are really workaholic. They are not doing for money. They should have had more confidence with their subordinates and do better in delegation, and enpowerment. They should had spent more effort on mentoring instead of doing the chores by themselves.
