If you were going to be a photographer, what would you specialize in?

I would be into nature pictures, or more specifically into pictures of flowers. They are amazingly beautiful, and much more co operative than people.

Hi eaforeman dear! I would love to take black and white pictures. I would love the drama of black and white in photography. I would love to take photos of people and capture different emotions written on their faces. I would really love to be a photographer if I will have the chance.

After my college course in Professional Photography (back in the 80's when we still used film) I legally registered myself as an ITINERANT PHOTOGRAPHER, with having a home-based studio business.

By licensing myself as a professional "itinerant photographer", meant that I was able to basically "bring my studio to them", as it were. This also gave me the opportunity to photograph in all types of catagories as well. Whether it be for poster/billboard, advertising, magazines, model shots, newspaper artices, accident scenes, etc., (you get the picture?) this gave me total free reign over what I could shoot as a business, and allowed me to safely travel and enter various sites, in oder to do carry out my job.

I found it most rewarding...not to mention, the pay isn't too bad either!
Maybe you'll might want go this route, if you can't make up your mind?

hi eaforeman6...if i had to choose one subject it would be scenery. l tend to love peaceful nature scenes. and that would include sunsets, birds, squirrels and wildlife. creatures are fascinating as long as it's not the "raw" footage hehe.

Photographing people is definitely the best way to make with your photos! My dad is an accountant and he does the taxes for several portrait and wedding photographers... they all make 6 figure incomes! Photographing people is definitely where the money is at!

Unfortunately for me, I don't like taking pictures of people all that much! I like candid shots of people, but I hate posing people!

My favorite subject to photograph is animals. I do some wildlife, but I mostly enjoy photographing domestic animals. I volunteer with animal rescues and shelters, so I take a lot of photos of the animals up for adoption! The photos are used to help find homes for the animals. And I use the photos to raise awareness for rescue and adoption. And I also take a lot of photos of my own pets! So to answer your question, I would want to get into pet photography. It combines two of my favorite things: pets and photography!

for me, scenic views and nature would be what i would be taking too i think since i like to look at breathtaking views. i want to share what i felt when i saw these pictures with others. maybe if there are some people there as well, it'll be better as i would like a natural feel with a gorgeous scenic background. that would be great but it's a pity that i only see great views in my dream. i never have a chance to experience all these so i can only dream.

"People" isn't really a line of photography, is it? People photos could be portraiture, nudes, action, sports, landscapes, underwater, martial arts, emotional expression....anything! The human condition is so diverse, ans requires so many skills to achieve anything in even a narrow field, like wedding or event photography.

I find great pleasure in photography as an art and as a craft, and I like to apply my skills, such as they are, to a very wide gamut of subjects.

I would do animals or scenery. I do love to take photos of my pets and I love to take photos of what country side.

If I were to be a photographer, I would love to take pictures of weddings. I think that these would be wonderful occasions and would really be beneficial. Just think about it, you would get to preserve the happy couple and bring them many memories as they look at their pictures in the future. I think that weddings are also a great venue to take pictures because there are so many wonderful shots available. If I could not take pictures of weddings, I would take pictures of babies. Again, this comes down to preserving the memories for the parents.

Lately, I have been using my camera phone for picture taking and msotly it's nature. I love taking photos of nature, from the mountains to the sees.
