My favorite was a song that had the words, "Thank God I'm A Country Boy." That may be the title too. I love to try to sing along with the song and see if I can do it without messing the words.

I really likes some of his songs. A friend of mine had a crush on him when I was in high school or I probably wouldn't have known he even existed until "Thank God I'm a Country Boy."

| belavrana (30) | 9 months ago |  I haven't seen one lately, but I know there is one I have seen a few times that has both concert footage and people talking about him. They tend to show it during pledge drives.
I used to be too "cool" to like his music but have come to appreciate a lot of it since I've grown up.
I think he was a very good singer, had good range and a smooth even tone.
I have little to no knowledge of his politics, except I know he liked the outdoors a lot, so I'd assume he was an environmentalist.
