Asleep in the Sun

The temperature in Central Arkansas today is hovering close to 75*. It is beautiful outside, with a few puffy clouds and gorgeous, warm sunshine. I love it and can't wait until Spring is here fully and we have lots and lots of days like this!
Baby, is especially enjoying the weather. I opened the patio door to let in the sunshine earlier this afternoon. She is on the balcony, lying in the sun with her feet stretched out in front of her. She looks so relaxed and comfortable. I went to the door and spoke to her a few minutes ago.
She simply lifted her head and opened one eye to peek at me. Then she close her eye, put her head back down on her paws and let out this long contented sounded sigh. And that's where she still lies.
What are you doing this afternoon? Were you able to get out and enjoy the warm Spring weather or did you get stuck inside? Or were you unfortunately, one of those that is still fighting rainy or icy weather.

It is pretty nice out. I got stuck working from early this morning to well after dark however. I work in a grocery/hardware store so I just keep going outside to "check for carts".

Ha ha That sounds like something I would do. One of my favorite jobs when I was in high school was working at an amusement park close to my house. I was in the gift shops, and I loved it when I got promoted to a supervisor where I could go from shop to shop giving breaks and checking on the other shop clerks.

When we got up this morning, the sun was out and I thought it was going to be a great day, They said on the news that the temperature was going to be in the mid 60's. I didn't pay attention to the rest of the forecast. It ended up being cloudy and overcast with drizzling rain and some wind. So the 60* felt more like 40. Not a good day.

It seems that whenever it is nice out, I get stuck working. All the other days it's windy and like 20 or 30 degrees but when I work it decides to warm up and be super sunny. The sun is what I love the most.

aww...I would love to go shopping, even if it was for someone else. I could at least window shop for me!
Today, there is no sun, so she's inside. I thought the sun was supposed to come out and it be warm, but if it, I haven't seen any sign of the big round orange ball in the sky! LOL

We also had lovely weather today. I saw it mostly while driving people back and forth to things they needed to do. It is enough to make me want to put my head on my paws as well and get some extra sleep.

I was happy that once I went to school and came home, I got to stay home! It was such a great day. I did a little bit of napping, a little bit of gathering and a little bit of mylotting.
I fixed a big crockpot full of 3 Bean Chicken Chili for dinner. Kristen's boyfriend Jon was here and between he and Mike, they cleaned the entire pot out!

well, i have a cold plus although its sunny outside, the temperature is not where it really should be today (i am envious of your 75!) here in southern ontario, canada the temperature is only a few degrees above freezing. its march break here this week and my daughter got her bike out for the first time this season. (we havent had snow on the ground for at least a month!)

See I'm a bit jealous of your snow! We haven't gotten a snowfall all year. Some ice a couple of times, but not a flake of snow that actually stuck! The first weekend in March, the girls and I went to Southeastern Missouri to meet friends and we got snow while I was up there. It's the only reason I'm not screaming in envy! LOL

I wish my husband could have gotten off this afternoon and I would have convinced him to take me to play golf! It was such a gorgeous day. A little breeze, a little sun, warm weather, but not too hot. What more could we have asked for to hit that little round ball with a stick?
