Money money money, money money, it's a rich man's world

I wonder how many other Mylotters who get friend requests from members whose apparent obsession is with discussions about pay sites and making money refuse to accept them? I simply can't be bothered, since I use the Friends Started list to drive my daily responses, and I refuse to have it cluttered with discussions on how much money someone has just got from XYZ site. Oh yes I really dislike all those discussions about pay sites. I admit that I have posted there twice but my posts were not about making money on the site but about the site being dodgy. However, I have noticed that some people want to be friends just so they can pm you with a referral link and that really annoys me. If that happens they are always deleted immediately. I think it is a very rude use of the friendship links.

I agree with you on this one. I think it's kind of annoying when people don't take full advantage of all that myLot offers; and instead try to use it as a way to get referrals or to boast about how much they're making on so-and-so site (which, in turn, is a way for them to try to get referrals, too). I do the same as you - I usually try to respond in my "friends started" column above all else, and it's nice to be able to talk about things other than just money and online money making opportunities.
