pet names for kids

my daughter hates it when i call her muffin, or honey or babe she yells at me that that's not her name. she's only 5 and i have to try to stop myself. do you have pet names for your kids, do they mind, and what are they

My husband calls my middle daughter "Krissy Pooh" her name is Kristen and she loves Pooh so it makes sense. It's been a nickname for awhile. My 4 year old niece shortened it to Pooh. So now much of the family has just started calling her Pooh. She hated it at first, until she realized that Isabella did it out of love. Now she's ok with it. Isabella on the other hand got hers because when she would say her name when she was about 18 months old it came out "Busy bella" and it just stuck. We all call her that, but sometimes it too gets shortened to just "Busy" she is definately busy, as most 4 year olds are.
