yes I have done that years ago, and one of our cats was having problems delivering and my son had to be midwife and deliver the babies for her. He has to wash them and put them in a blanket to keep them warm too.

Yes, we have. However it was not an orphan. It was the runt kitten that our mother kitten gave birth to about a year ago. The poor little thing just didn't have enough strength to nurse and we bottle fed it. Unfortunately the kitten didn't survive because it just didn't seem as though it was ready to be born.

Yes! I had to feed the cat I have now (4 years old) from ziplock bags filled with milk when he was young, because the owner had given him to me when he was only 4 weeks old and he was so tiny he couldn't even eat! He was such a runt of a cat, I thought he was always going to be tiny. But now when I lay on the couch he lays right next to me, his head will be at my chin and his feet reach my knees. He's HUGE! and, he knows I am his mommy now, and I have never had a better cat in my life.
