I love to take pictures, though rarely of people. Nature is my favorite, mostly sunrise sunset. I also love macro floral. It is great that in a big patch of weeds where a single flower may have happened to push through, with the right lens you can remove all the clutter from that single shining beauty. I would like to start doing celestial photography, but from what I have heard it can be very hard. That and getting the right equipment can be expensive for something that only provides personal enjoyment. I am looking to upgrade my camera soon and wonder which to go with. I shoot with Nikon now, but am looking for feed back on other body styles. Thanks for your input.

I like to take nature photographs. They are nice. I also take alot of pictures of my pets they are very photogenic and most people like animals. I think they make good subjects because they are always doing something funny that I enjoy watching.

My cat is crazy, but elusive so I never catch her doing funny stuff on film. I guess I have to just stick to things that don't move much lol.

I also love taking pictures. Anything that catches my eyes. By the way what is the model of your Nikon DSLR?, mine is Nikon d60 I bought it one year ago. If you want to see some of my photo collection go to www.kuhanglitrato.multiply.com

Right now I am still in the dark ages lol. I am shooting with the n80 and love the camera. I checked out you pics and love the green marble one. The island picks were cool also. I love tropical places though far from any. The ocean calls me daily but reality keeps me where I am. I haven't gotten any of my picks on here and only one of my digital designs. I have recently switched computers and don't have everything on this one. I have looked at the d60 and have been leaning toward Nikon, since all my lenses will still be useable, but have heard good things about other brands which leads me to ask for feed back from other camera owners.

Most of my work is nature photography. I do, on occasion, work with models. My last themed shoot was a Zombie Shoot. It was a lot of fun.

My camera of choice is Canon EOS SLR (non-digital). I also a Nikon digital, but it's a small thing that is really mainly for when I don't want to lug a bunch of equipment around:)

Regardless of whether you want to use digital or not, I highly recommend Canon cameras. They are a bit pricey, but they're worth it.

I have been torn by the Canon lenses, as far as when I shoot sunrise sunsets, a great zoom and lens filters make some awesome shots, but have never used one of thier body styles. The reason I went with the Nikon was beacuse the view finder was bright. When I shoot weddings(mostly only for friends and referals)some churches or halls have been dim, and I cant take the chance that the auto focus is or isn't right on, so I do it manually. Now though I want to be able to proscess photos for people right then and there at the cerimony and get away from film. No more guess work.

I love taking pictures in nature. I have a few sunset pictures that I love, but I find my favorite in nature is water: lakes, ponds, waterfalls. I haven't been able to get celestial photography because my camera isn;t too great. I would love to upgrade my camera soon. I have a simple sanyo right now.

I have tow favorites. The first is sports action. I take High School Photos for the local paper. I love to catch the action and the players. I also like nature photography and will stop to get photos of wildlife.

If our Nikon a=is an SLR you will want to stay with the brand if you have any accessories or additional lenses, and the latest offerings from Nikon in their SLR range are very fine cameras indeed.

If you don't have a single lens reflex, then the field is wide open to you. Canon is the only company I know that has a camera specifically designed to fit a telescope, but adapters are available for most brands.

If you are committed to your photography, then an SLR is far and away the best type of camera to move to; the brand is irrelevant, but make sure the camera handles the way that suits you, and has the features you need. The best sellers Canon and Nikon) do not have image stabilisation built into the bodies: you have to buy stabilized lenses for them, which could be an issue for your macro pictures (I have never heard of a IS or VR macro lens). Sony, Olympus and Panasonic SLRs (and others) have stabilisation in the camera, so all their lenses benefit.
