Laser Hair Removal?

Have you ever done this, or looked into it? I know it's expensive, and it will be a very long time before I can afford it, but I would consider getting it for my facial hair, if it actually worked. What I want to know is if it hurts, and if it's actually effective. Have you done it? What part of your body did you use it on? How well did it work?

I tried it on my legs and didn't like it. I will stick with shaving. I do get my eyebrows waxed but that is as far as i am willing to go with wax.

I'm not talking about waxing. I'm talking about permanent laser hair removal.

My daughter has been doing a course of laser treatments for facial hair. She said that alhtough it was expensive it is worth every penny and she does not regret having it done at all. I hope that she can finish the course before she has to leave the USA. You are a very young women so save and try to get it done. Rachel said that it did not hurt and she is a cry-baby. I had electrolysis many years ago for facial hair and yes, that did sting and left my skin red for two days after. Go for it!

Maybe I will look into seeing how much it costs and try to get some done. Thanks for the tip.

I have never had it done before, but if it were less expensive I would not mind having my face done either. I have a layer of "peach fuzz" on my cheeks that I find annoying and my upper lip has some hair that is just a little too dark for my liking.

Yeah, I have that peach fuzz all over and it drives me crazy. And the older I get, the worse my facial hair seems to get. I'm getting stray hairs on my chin in places, the hair on my upper lip is getting darker and courser... even my eyebrows are getting worse. I pluck the regularly, but they just keep getting wider and longer giving me more and more to pluck!

Currently, I am not having difficulty with excess facial hair. I do have a single hair that has popped up on my chin since the birth of my son. The things hormones cause! lol I have seen it done on tv. Looks relatively painless.
