I agree with you about "viva lass vegas" any more I don't think it's right that they ruin a great song just for the sake of advertising...especially for someone's ahem, "Mr. Johnson", if you know what I mean?
They should create their own songs...not take them from rock roll's greatest hits.

| |  Sorry to chime in here...but dang, that is the music business! Commercials pay huge royalties to the estate for the use of his song/voice..and it really is a rub!But I guess we have to realize that it is royalties like this that keep "Graceland" alive. It is sad tho, that they had to use a wonderful song like this for such an unusual product, as it taints the song! Cheers!

| | Since I was a young lad (many years ago) my childhood friend used to bring all his Elvis records over to play at my house, and also, plus whenever The King released anything new. We must have played those 45's and LP's, til they wore right through to the other side.
If anyone (and I'm sure there are several like me) knows Elvis tunes, I can honestly say, that my friend and I can probably sing every song backwards...we know them all so well. LONG LIVE THE KING!

| |  I like almost all of Elvis Presley songs. The one I consider the top of the list for me is "Love Me Tender." I liked the movies he acted in also. I just loved watching him. I always believed that he was a great actor and singer. The other songs that I really enjoyed are Hound Dog, Heartbreak Hotel, Can't Help Falling In Love. These are just a few of his songs that I enjoyed. But I liked all of his songs and enjoyed his movies very much.

I truly love most of Elvis' Gospel Music the best, as I like the true quality of his voice in these songs! There is not so much band music in the background!

| |  I love all the Elvis movies but I am especially in love with "Blue Hawaii". It's just so beautiful and has a great story line....and the cast members are terrific..remember Angela Landsbury as his mom? Wow.....and ALL the songs but especially "Wise Men" was so beautiful...sigh...now you make me want to watch it!
