I went directly to the store and had to buy it online anyway!

My son is getting baptized later this month. I found my daughter's outfit for the occasion atTarget almost 6 years ago. Well I did a search at Target.com to see what they had available for boys. Then I went to the store to purchase the outfit. No where on the site did it state available online only. So I hunted around for almost 20 minutes until I asked where they were. I was told they don't carry them. Maybe it was for that store, maybe not. I wasn't going to waste more time. I came home and made the buy online. Ever have a similar experience? It was very frustrating.

Yeah, we had that problem recently as well. What we wanted wasn't available in stores but online only. So we couldn't purchase it since I don't do credit cards and I haven't gotten a prepaid card yet.

That stinks. I like Toys R Us and Walmart online because they do actually tell you if it is available online. I also like Walmart's site to store option, so you don't ahve to pay shipping on some things.

Yep. It does make things easier. I wish some sites have a suggestion box.

In the past when I wanted to buy a bread maker, I did go to the store to check it. As I have to see how it looks in the reality. Then I went online to buy the same bread maker because buying it via the net was cheaper. I love China

I can see where the frustration comes in. Perhaps the site would do better to indicate "in store only" for items listed. I believe I have seen, while shopping, such text or at least similar declarations. I would assume they were put in place to save me frustration such as you have experienced.

This things always happened on me,so from times and times,i almost give up to buy clothes in the store(except some certain stores i love).i don`t think this is a good thing for me,cos i would become more lazy...and i don`t like the weather here so shopping outside is really suit for me.

That would be really frustrating. I have never done this. I have came home and wanted to buy something online as maybe i could have found a coupons for money off and free shipping, but they didn't have it online but they were in the store. OH well i never bought the dress anyways that i liked. It was probably just another dress i didn't need anyways.
