I give my 3 1/2 year old vitamins every day. The Pedi said I could give him Flinstones... I was worried because my son won't eat meat, fruits or veggies! So I got a pill crusher and I put it in his morning juice, every morning.
So far, so good; I also give him Flouride drops too for his little teeth. I feel a little better knowing he's getting his vitamins even if he lives off of Cheerios!

i think if you give nutritious food for your kids and you know how much vitamins they can take from their food its better to avoid multi vitamins sometimes multi vitamis its not good for the health it is only good for the first but i preffer not give any vitamis to my kids, i just sure they eat veges fruits and lots of nutritious foods. but if you think they are not healthy enough then try for eat but consult your pedia for more information.

No, I don't give my children vitamins - why should I? There's no need to do so. I give vitamin D the first 2 years since we live very far north but that's it.
They will get what they need from their food if you'll feed them real food.
SOme might need iron or other vitamins due to things, but ordinary people don't need to eat vitamins!
Vitaminproducers want to make us thing we need them :-)
