for goodness sake...............

I thought for a moment and ask myself the question you ask me, but couldn't find the answer for myself unless someone come up and evaluate whether I am a good person. . There is also a mistaken, but common belief that no one is good all the time. I say it's a mistaken belief because there are countless people who have different opinions of others and I am no difference.To say I am a good person is like carrying a basket full of goodies. It is important to remember that one person with good manners and good human relations skills can still make a difference. What's going on around is no reason to lower our standards of excellence in this important area. Yes, your post is a little uncomfortable and humbling, but it was a valuable wake-up call and a wonderful opportunity to become a better person.

i try to be a good person but sometimes i'm not. i get aggravated w/people & i'm not very good at hiding it being the outspoken person that i am.

that last part, sometimes we have to put our foot down is also common sense, when you do that, it does not stop you from being a good person, it has nothing to do with it, it is just sticking up for yourself and your rights which everyone should do.

Good at heart to the core, I believe. But unfortunately full justice to my inner self could never be made explicit for fear of being either misinterpreted or degraded.

What is a definition of a good person? A terrorist is bad for humanity but if that terrorist is killing only those policemen who are corrupt then it can be said that he is doing a good thing. I am responding to you, it may be a good thing for you but can't be seen good for your competitors. So, I can't say if I am good or bad because there is a definition for each person of being good or nice. It is almost impossible to make everyone happy and those who can do so, like Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi etc, were a gem sent by God to us. I won't even say that you are good or bad because my interpration to your well if you don't cheat it just makes a sense that you are not a cheat . If u don't lie and steal,only means you are not liar or thieves . Don't start cursing me guys It's qualities like such as Words is different than you, isn't it? And for your question sake, I believe that I am a good person in my view. No matter what I do I do because I feel that I doing it for good cause. Every coin has two sides, mind you!

It is a very good discussion. Only when you are aware of the goal, you can have initiative to identify your weakness and improve your personality, so that you can be competitive for a better position, or at least feel better content with yourself, and serve as a happy company for your family members and colleagues. As for myself, I did not realize where to improve until late in my career and life. So start think about when young, so that you can have better opportunity for improvement, and prevent from complaining about failure in job and people.

I am not a good person. I mean I get mad, I resent people, I forget to help others, I get angry. I feel others had a better break then I did. I sometimes wish some people would go away, etc. The only one on earth that was good was Jesus Christ, and we as humans are all infected by that original sin that brought in the feelings of jealousy, murder, hatred, etc. So I am not a good person, and I doubt that I will be until I go to heaven and all the badness that I have in me will be left at the door.

Hi! Riya! It is a difficult question to answer because my friends/near and dear ones can voice their opinion about me instead of me blowing my own trumphet. I know that I am not perfect and I have some positive and negative traits, as well. However, it is upto me how much positive attitude I show towards others. In other words do I allow my negative traits to override my positive traits? The answer is in negative. I always try to be positive with others, showing fair amount of compassion, sympathy and helping attitude. I try to be courteous, modest and remain loyal to my near and dear ones. I am an average normal human being, therefore, I also sometimes lose my patience and can get angry on somone or some situation. I sometimes get irritated by unexpected criticism which is directed towards me. All in all I can say with conviction that I always try to be 'good' to others, rest depends upon them, how do they view me or judge me. Good Post!

Yes....even though I have to bit my tongue a bit I am....I like being a giver and sharing with others....I like being good to people...and helping out when I can...so I guess I do qualify as a good person!

I honestly do believe that I am a good person but I'm far from perfect. I have always been the type of person who sticks up for the underdog who get's treated unfairly. When I was a kid in school it use to bother me a lot when bullies would pick on the smaller & weaker kids , I would always get in bullies faces and defend the kids the bullies would pick on and it often ended up in a physical knock down drag out fist fight.. Injustice often ignites my courage to stand up to people who wrong others unfairly. We all need somebody sometimes to look out for us when needed.

Yes..i think i am a good person. I don't lie, cheat, or steal. I don't do those things because knowing i did harm to someone else would kill me. I would rather help others than help myself, and it bothers me that i am limited in what i can do to help someone else. I am loyal to those who have earned it, but do try to treat everyone equally. We are good people but we are not saints, and i use that as an excuse when the rare occasion happens and i lose my temper.lol

I am not sure I am good or bad, I am good at doing some things and bad at doing some things. Does what you do make you a good or bad person? I have moods some good and some bad, does that make me a good or bad person. I guess I don't know how to answer this question.
