What are the causes of war?

The major causes of war are hate, land and lack of respect towards other nations

So even if my organized religion is Mennonite (a historic peace church that opposes war of all kind whose members refuse to serve in the military) I am diseased and am adding to the support for war??

because people want to go to war to try to get people to be like themself. and they can't except everyone is different and not all other countries can be just like them

People seems never satisfied with what they have got and just want to have more and so two countries start a war...
It is not the leader of a country,but people themselves!If people don't want a war,then how can just a few leaders start a war?

If that's really your view on religion, I respect that. But personally, I don't consider religion as a cause of war(s). I mean even if there's no religion, there would still be wars, whether it's country v.s. country or just you v.s. someone else. A great example for this are the two most well-known and greatest wars in history, the 1st and 2nd World War. These wars were not created because of religion.

Since we have different views, opinions, and the freedom to do whatever we want, these facts of life will serve as a motivation for us to do either good things or the opposite.

I think this discussion will be much more agreeable if you've posted this to the MONEY section. Because it seems to me that money usually serves as the portal to most crimes and corruption.

Religion is just religion. It's just a term, basically! It depends on the followers how they will use it. It's like saying, "paper and pen" is "paper and pen", the question is, "what will you write?"

Another cause of war is having miscommunication. When people didn't able to understand each other properly then I guess this will lead to trouble. Just like the war in most of the country now. The terrorist doesn't want to have a peace talk to the government because they know that the government doesn't want to listen with what they really wanted to say and they don't pay attention to their needs. I also think being open minded and having long patient can stop conflicts or war to other people.

There was once a was startedby one man. I speak about the second World War. It was all Stalin's fault. He wanted comunism to dictae all over the world. He knew that nobody will vote for a system like comunism. At that moment(the intbelic one) some a lot of states were to powerfull to impose comunism through comunism party. There for, a war was needed. We was agains every peace treaty and disarmament. Even if powerfull states wanted peace they couldn't have it because of Stalin. Also Stalin encouraged Hitler to start the war. And the war starded after the "Ribbentrop Molotov" pact was signed beetween Sovietic Union and Germany. Even if Stalin dind't directly started the war, the was principal cause of the World War II .
