Do you like to jam to the music that was popular when you were a tween? teen? 20's? 30's? ect? Hubby loves the 80's big hair music & current country music. Me I like the big hair music of the 80's, but I grew up more with the grunge music of the 90's though I listen to a lil bit of everything popular. How about you is there a particular decade you like?

It would have to be the 80's and 90's because they ruled.

For me it was the 90's, hands down. SO many great bands were born and raised through the 90s - Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarten, Smashing Pumpkins, I could go on for pages, but yeah, I loved the 90s and I will probably still be listening to all that stuff when I am in my 80s.

My hubby despises Nirvona he says it's that type of music that brought almost all the big hair bands down except Metallica & BonJovi. I wish Smashing Pumpkins wouldn't of split up *sigh*

I pretty much like them all. Except the Bee Gees disco era. I like 20's through now and I enjoy all types of music except new country and opera. Old country, I can take some of it--the cowboy songs but not the ones singing about losing the wife, the dog, the truck, etc. I don't like whiny country. I love hard rock, metal of all kinds, big band, swing and jazz. New age can kiss my grits. And I don't think you're old enough to recognize that phrase!

My favorite decades of music is the 70s and 80s especially in jazz and funk. Some of the music from back then was just plain cool and I would rather listen to old stuff than some of today's music. Some of today's music make me scratch my head and say this is music?

I'm an 80s big hair fan all the way. It was so great to grow up during that era--the music rocked! I was sad to see all of that get replaced by grunge.

Yeah, I'm with you.. I like a lot of the 80's... but I was born in early 80, so was too young for a lot of it. I do however have a Bon Jovi CD playing in my car right now, only because I just finally got tired of my Journey greatest hits CD. I also like a lot of 90's music. Whenever I get in a nostolic mood I will download some Jodeci, Boyz 2 Men, Bel Biv Divoe... etc etc.

I was graduated in the 90's too and some of it was pretty cool. BUT nothing compares to the 70's for me. I love the Zepplin, Floyd, Doors... I went many years and listened to nothing by 70's bands. I still do listen to it more...lol, no I am not completely sick of it yet. I really cannot get into new stuff, so many of it lacks soul for me. I like the 60's too ;)
