My grandmother was the only person that I ever knew that wore a dress, high heels and pearls on a DAILY basis! it would look so funny watching her mop the floors, do the dishes and clean the garbage cans.. all dressed up!

Is your gran in her eighties (assuming she's still with you). My mother is. So I have that same image firmly fixed in my head! LOL

I wish she was.. She passed away many years ago (when I was 10 years old) in the late 70's..

I realized something a while back that totally broke my heart.. I realized that I can no longer remember her voice.. the idea of her fading in my mind just drives me to tears. I was very lucky to have known her..

But you feel her, and remember her, and one day when it's 'your time' you'll hear her voice again......

I just took her out into the fields and let her go. She actually snuffled out some gophers today and they had a great time playing cat and mouse. I think the gopher was rather surprised Spunky didn't try to eat it! LOL

Something tells me that if she wanted to shoot you, it would only work on a bitter-cold winter day. Just rub her feet on the carpet, & gently poke you with her gloved finger. However, she'd get zapped too, & would probably complain "Oh, my poor widdle finger."

LOL, and then she'd stick it in my eye and say "Oops!" while grinning foolishly and batting her eyelashes at me............I should have offered her a martini! ROFL

That's when you walk over, step on her toes, & continue moving right into her, & then say "OOPS! I can't see & didn't know you were right there," as she finds herself sitting on the floor wondering, "What the heck hit me?"
