I am not really into flowers but getting some makes me feel beautiful and appreciated. I love receiving gifts and they don't have to be really expensive at all. As long as the man exerted effort on it and the gift is well-thought of, it will be very much appreciated.

Flowers play a significant role in one's life. That is why flowers are so expensive. Well, giving flowers to the special someone is like telling them you really care, because flowers are really hard to take care. Presenting someone a flower for me means, I care so much. Hehehe.

Well, that is just for me.

I love flowers too and especially when my boyfriend gives me when I least expect it. He always brings a smile to my face. I just like that with the flowers.

I like flowers too, but a single flower means just as much. I don't need the $50 roses, one daisy is just as good. The big bouquets I think are a waste of money.

Flowers are important and receiving them from your husband or boyfriend makes you feel special and that he truly does like you. I barely ever receive flowers and i would like to receive them more, but now i know they aren't going to be showing up at all because we can't go out buying a lot right now because we need to be saving money to fix a car we have and that is really more important anyways. Receiving flowers makes me feel special inside and that i know my rest of the day is going to go great, but it's ok if i don't receive them i still love him and that;s ok.

i honestly don't like flowers unless somebody gives me the plant.
say,if it's roses,i'd prefer a rose bush,then i can put it in my yard,and have a living reminder.
cut flowers,no.having 12 lil corpses at the end of the week to me,doesn't sound like love.

Honestly I don't really care for flowers all that much. Sure they are pretty and they smell nice, but they are so short-lived. One guy I dated gave me flowers all the time, and I used to dry them out and turn them into potpurri. Other than that, I found no real use for them. The first thing I think when a guy brings me flowers is, "What did you do?" lol. Negative I guess.

We have the same thoughts on flowers. Like you I feel so special receiving flowers on my birthday or any other occasions. In one of my sites, my page layout is red roses. My friends know I love flowers that they send me almost everyday with flowers graphics in my comment section to my delight that I have to visit my page everyday just to see the flowers coming. Once they send me roses, I will thank them with the note, I love roses, the next time all I see are roses around. Isn't that great? My late husband was not used of giving me flowers before but when we got married and learned I love flowers, he would send me yellow roses during our anniversaries. I was so happy then, it's alright if no other gifts. When he died though I didn't wish for it bulks of flowers flooded his wake that really in someway lessened my grief as I saw the beautiful flowers around. Though I'm in sorrow my heart felt joy with the expression of our friends and relatives love for my husband and the family. When I go to the mall, I would go to the flower section. When I visit a house, I will look for the flower garden. When I go to the churches, after praying, I'm looking for the flower arrangement or flowers offerred. That's how flowers are important to me. When someone died, I feel so sorry if I could not give flowers and when the time comes for me to leave this world, I want flowers as well.

When my husband and I first got together, he told me "flowers die, why would I give them to show you how much you mean to me" I love flowers, so for the Easter that I was pregnant with our son he bought me a rose bush, they don't die as easily as cut flowers. Well, they still died. I was VERY pregnant and can't bend my knees or anything like that to look after my rose bush. Since then every time I mention that I want flowers he reminds me of the rose bush I killed.

Here's the best part. This year for Valentine's day I got 1 flower, not from my husband but a co-worker. She had bought flowers to put out on the tables at the restaurant that we work at. At the end of the night she sent a flower home with each one of us that had been working.

in my 5yr relationship he never bring me flowers. because i have told him not to, im not into it. but thinking about it why the hell did i dislike flowers? maybe because i just think that guys do that because of traditions. but as i mature more, i realize guys meant whatever actions they do. so i like to recieve flowers now. i want to feel what its like to recieve it from someone really speacial. but i guess im too late now.=(
