I must say this morning was a pleasant surprise. I went to mcdonalds and ordered 3 small coffees and a coke. Had a 20 dollar bill out to pay for it and ended up paying in change because the coffees were FREE and the coke was the only thing charged for. Apparently Mcdonalds is having free small coffees from now until May 3rd. I'm not sure why does anyone else know? Is it just in Canada? or Everywhere?

I haven't heard of that! But that's awesome that those coffees were free! I don't usually go to McDonalds (OK - I don't go AT ALL), but maybe I should stop by sometime to see if a small coffee is free in MY country, too. Hopefully.

I want you to know that this discussion made me have to go get a cup of coffee. I only drink one in the evening.

I had not heard this. I am going to guess it is to encourage people to try their coffee to find out that it is as good as some "specialty" coffee.I think our McDonalds did this a while back.

I got reading after i posted this that its to lure people from tim hortons or the other breakfasty food places to mcdonalds. Its sure made mcdonalds popular from 5-10:30 here locally ive never seen that parking lot so full all morning!

I wish Second Cup would do something that like. I personally can't stand McDonald's coffee, so I wouldn't even pay for it, but to those who like that kind of coffee, then it's a wonderful thing. It's always nice to get something that you enjoy for no charge. Good for you!

I tend to prefer mcdonalds coffee over the starbucks or second cup but..i also like their prices better! I love the smell of going into a starbucks or a Second Cup but...i find alot of the time antyhign ive had there is too strong or just not a flavour i like (I admit though I'm not much of a coffee person to begin with)
