Would you ever get a tattoo? |
| |
| As a tattoo is generally a symbol or image of some sort that remains on the body forever, would you get one done? I know some people get tattoo's of the name of their lover for example. What would happen if you break up and their name remains on your body?? I have heard they can be removed but is it worth the hassle and pain in the first place? | | | | | |

| | Amen to that learn! The bible clearly states that though shalt you shall not make any cuttings in your flesh on account of the dead or tatoo any marks upon you (leviticus 19:28) Even if the bible did not say it, I HATE TATOOS! I think its disgusting and horrible that people put themselves through that torture. Besides I also have issues with needles so.. No thanks to tatoos for me... | | | |

| | Seeing as you would never actually want one for yourself I think it is quite nice that you are open to other people getting one done. Thanks for responding. | | | |

| | Personally, I'm not really a fan of tattoos. Although years ago I did want a small tattoo of a ladybug on my ankle but never went through with it. Tattoos are an art and a form of self expression but they are not for everyone. I'm not a fan of needles and I worry about infection so I will probably never have a tattoo. I know many people who have tattoos and some regret doing this to their body while the others just love them. How about you? Do you have a tattoo or will you get one? Have a great day and happy posting. | | | | | | |

| | No I do not have a tattoo. I was thinking about getting one a long time ago on my shoulder but didn't do it in the end as I was unsure about the whole thing to begin with. I know some people who have several tattoos and are really proud of them. I guess it is a very personal thing. | | | |

| | nope..i will never get any tattoo at all.it's doesn't look nice at all.why you want to suffer just to have image carve to your skin..i don't think it look any beautiful, actually i think it look quite ugly!imagine when you become old, isn't the tattoo will look horrible to your aging skin!plus why bother to do any tattoo if you decided to remove it later..much better you just paste the fake tattoo instead of permanent tattoo.. | | | | | | |

| | I suppose having a tattoo done is a very personal thing. I do agree that tattoos on certain parts of the body do not look good when the skin starts to show age. Thanks for responding. | | | |

| | No, I am not even the least bit interested. I do not like needles, do not like the look either. I also keep imagining what it would look like when the body part got old, wrinkled, and saggy? That would look kind of scary. | | | | | | |

| | Yes certain parts of the human body do tend to 'sag' more than others and I can imagine that a tattoo on those parts would not be very flattering after reaching a certain age! | | | |

| | Sounds like you made a sensible and well thought out choice with the image of your tattoo. I have heard that the amount of pain suffered depends on which body part you get tattooed - apparently the small of the back is meant to be an absolute killer! | | | |

| | No, not me. I have never really understood this tattoo idea. And I hate the fact that it is really going to last all your life. I don't know if I will love the same person in 10 years or will I love the other symbol I have chosen when I was 16 when I will be 50. So, no. I rather go for henna tattoo if I really wanted to have some ornament on my skin ;) | | | | | | |

| | I think that is the scariest part of having a tattoo - that in a number of years you may change your mind. | | | |

| | Personally, I don't ever want a tattoo. If other people want to, that's fine and I think some people have beautiful tattoos. But I don't want anything that permanently changes my body. And some people are just covered with them! I think that looks rather strange but if they enjoy their body art, more power to them! | | | | | | |

| | I dont think I will. But when i was in high school, I really wanted to have one. Its just that its not allowed in our school and my parents wi surely be furious if i will have one. What i did, was to once in a while put henna tattoo especailly on special occasions. I was thinking also when I was in college to have a tattoo at my lower back waistline. I did not pursue it because i heard some friends who had tattoos saying that how painful it is. | | | | | | |

| | Yes I believe that depending on which part of the body you want it on, it can be very painful. | | | |
