Uniforms?

I think that it is better to wear uniforms to work as they are more hard.

I have work for companies with offical uniforms/ workware and companies without.

I am not really bothered about wearing the uniforms, the only problem I have is having my name on display, since I have a terrible memory for name and faces, but for some reason people seem to remember me. So normally the only way for me to distinguish whether I know them or not is if they use my name but with an name badge or having your name sewn on your shirts, you never know if they do know you or are reading your name badge.

In the past I have either lost my name badge or covered up the shirt with an work ware jumper

I never like to wear uniforms.I am glad that I don't have to.we wear something comfortable

Well,having uniform is a good idea,and it is a token of team work.It means all the employees are in the same unity.That save your time to think what kind of clothes should be choosed torrow.Just like the high school student or soldier,the uniform represent a spirit.I am not against at least.

Personally I would prefer uniforms. In my previous employment, we all wear uniforms but now in my new employment - no uniforms. I was so used to wearing uniforms that when I start work for my current company, I was like 'what am I going to wear today'. Everyday I've to think about what to wear. My wardrobe is very limited so it's a struggle to mix & match. With uniforms, there's no need to think..:)

well i think that i agree to wearing uniforms at work if you really need to, because uniforms has its own purpose. you know, doctors, cops, firemen, etc. a uniform represents what we do so i think that we should wear uniforms. and it can be very handy at wash days. and you're right, we won't have to worry about what to wear the next day. but it's only my opinion!

its cool because you never get judged on what you wear you know how the world is now days lots of competition with the fashion world .uniforms seperates reality and puts your mind strictly to work which is a good thing, the only negative thing about uniforms is they are really uncomfortable

At work in my opinion, one should have independence of wearing clothes, it makes one feel more comfortable. Regarding the query of what to wear next day, i think this gets stablized by time. When you join new you bother, after sometime it gets into habbit.

We dont have a uniform but a dress code. Basic office attire. We can't wear shirts that are too low on the chest. We cant wear shorts that is higher then the knee. We can only wear jeans on fridays. So on so on. I think it just depends on what you do. I work in a office all day and personally i think what we wear is fine. In some places i think uniform is necessary though. Like for instance if you walk in a mcdonalds and everyone is wearing different things it may be hard to realize who works there and who doesn't. Also managers can identify who works there and who doesn't especially with ten new people starting one day or so.

I am in the military so I wear a uniform to work every day. I wish I could wear civillain clothes but I understand. Some people don't wear appropriate clothing to work. Uniforms fixes this problem.
