Uniforms?

I work in a health-care setting and they require us and provide us with scrubs to wear. I actually prefer to wear this type of uniform. Scrubs are comfortable and easy to clean. I didn't mind wearing them before the company started to provide us with them. When the company I worked for decided they wanted us in certain colors, they started to buy us several sets a year, so that made things even easier.

My company doesn't have such a rule that the employers must wear uniforms. Although the uniforms are given out to every employ, we still have great freedom to wear the clothes we like. Most people prefer to wear the clothes they select from shops. The variety of clothes in style and color can strike people as freshness. They can bring the boring and nervous work novelty and refreshment. Especially, during the rest minutes, the clothing is always the focus of discussion. If somebody says to you "You look beautiful in this dress", I think you will feel happy the whole day. The changable clothing everyday can become a way to shorten the distance between human's minds. of course, it depends. In some governmental office, it is necessary to wear uniforms because they can show the professional responsibility. In some service industry, the employers are also required to wear uniforms because they are a kind of mark in service and can bring the convenience for customers and work more properly.

hi nympha687, my profession is a assistance nurse for geriatric care. And I need to wear a uniform. I can choose by three different outfit. One blue dress, One blue dress of skirt and trousers, and one white dress of skirt and trousers. I use mostly the blu dress...during winter and the white dress during the summer time. How ever, the dresses we can wear is from a laundry, I would like to use dresses I like to choose on my own. But it is not aloud.

The size is so strange in our uniforms and I feel uncomfortble in them sometimes...but, rules are rules...you just have to like it.

it's good for your CO. it's convenience for manageing,maybe you don't like it .but it's a face for a company infact.it's sign that the company and stuffs is very good.

I think it is okay to have dress codes, but I don't think that there should be uniform for work. I like the idea of having school uniforms during the schools. I also think uniforms are economical and people can wear then for at least two years. I also think people are more comfortable in wearing casual clothes.

the closest thing to a uniform i had to wear was a smock. it helped me keep from getting printer ink and toner on my clothes. it was cheaper to ruin a company issued smock than my favorite ratty t-shirts/sweatshirts.

The requirement of uniforms is good in some ways. You don't have to spend a lot of money on different work clothes. Also, everyone has to dress the same. The only problem is how strict your uniforms can get. It limits individuality.
