No More Computer Troubles For Us. YAY!!!!!

Walker bought a new refurbished Windows XP PC today (he just went to bed so now I'm using it) and my Vista laptop is probably going to be back from the repair shop tomorrow. I'm so glad the dang thing was still under warranty when it blew a power port.
Walker has wanted a new computer for a while, and we found a cheap one at a store we'd never heard of, on the way to the UPS store to mail off my defective laptop. The great part is that if my laptop hadn't blown, we would have never found a computer for Walker!
There really is a silver lining in every cloud.
Anyone else have any good news to share today?

Well that sounds like great news:) ANd you are right: there often is a silver lining in every cloud, although sometimes we don't find it right away :)
My laptop is also giving me some troubles and unfortunately it is not in the warranty anymore, so I'm on my own grrr
As for good news, don't really have any special ones to share, good news haven't been that many with us lately, so probably we are due for some good stuff soon LOL

That is great to hear. I have been having all kinds of problems with my computer lately and my internet service provider, blocking things. I am glad everything is working out for you both though.

Yeah! I'm so happy for you.
I was having some of the same computer
troubles you mentioned this past year and
foolishly went out to the Walmart and bought
a cheapie computer for $350. Well the thing
lasted barely one month.
Two months later, we found a refurbished
VISTA at a local second hand pawn shop
and it's been going strong for almost six months.
The computer was less than one year old and cost only
$135. What a deal.
