Are you saving for a reason?

My husband and I are saving for a car. This will be our first car as a couple. We targeted to buy it before the year ends. I just wish that everything will went our smoothly, I hope that emergencies wouldn't get in the way. Otherwise we have to use the money for emergencies. Wish us luck.

I'm saving up to get a new laptop using all my online programs. It will take some time but I've got plenty of it.

I'm saving up to buy a laptop and a high definition digital camera... I've always had this attachment to gadgets...=) I also like having money on hand; I save some of my money in good old piggy banks... it makes me feel secure that I have money on hand, and of course, it always comes in handy in emergency cases when I can't access an ATM machine...=)

S. I save for my future. If I save, I can tackle economic problems easily. But if I fail, I have to suffer a lot!

Ya, i've the habit of saving money snce i was young. Perhaps this is because we're educated to be always careful when spending money and have to save for the rainy days. I save money for some reasons too. The money that i save will be used to go for travelling to the foreign countries that i've been always wanted to go. Besides, i also wish to have a better and bigger house of my own, and also a better car for my family. My dream is to run a business like opening a cafe. All these needs money. So, i've to start earning and saving money now so that i can achieve my goals in life.

Hi missybear, it’s nice to save some money regularly or whenever we have made some, so that we could get our desirable stuff easily. Yeah, we don’t feel handicap if we have extra saving to solve the in dire need of the money. Really sometimes we may encounter certain unexpected event that needs certain amount of money to cope with.

I always save part of my money made from my part time works so that I could use it to purchase my favorite gadget or having foreign trip.

I'm too busy trying to pay the bills to save....

I'm saving money, not for any particular thing, but for any emergency...jsut in case there is a need, then I'm confident that I have something, some kind of a fall back, just in case. If I want to buy something, say a TV set, I don't like to take it from my savings...I'll wait for the right time, say a christmas bonus...I have to wait, instead of using my hard earned savings...

I try to save but it never seems to help since we are always in need of this or that. And so what I earn/save tends to go towards that then what I actually want it for. I want to save up for a all in one printer so I can have a scanner.copier,fax, and a printer in one. But the way things are going I will be to old to enjoy it if I ever do get it.lol

i want to save the money everytime, but i always cant insist on it,it's so difficult for me.my wage is not too high,in my spare time, i like going shopping to buy some clothes or cosmetic things,so every month,i have no money to leave.if there are some emergency things happen,i will ask my parents for money.
