Coach's lie detector test.. WHO THE HECK CARES?!?!?!? Wasn't that the dumbest thing ever!??! Come on.. just cause he says it happens... SO WHAT!??!?! There are ways around a lie detector test... that is why they are not admissible in court... if you convince yourself of something being the truth... that is how the test will reveal it. Since he gave not specifics about his "capture", it could be anything... he could have known the people or they could have just found him lost or just helped him... but with his "dragonslayer" attitude and all... he created this amazing capture and survival in his head and made a mountain out of a mole hill. If he believes it.. it is true. I thought it always odd he never gave specifics, names, dates, places etc.

I think Steven could have not gotten votes simply based on his thing at final tribal... when JT always said it was the two of them, and then Steven, right there in front of everyone including JT said that if he had been the one to choose, he didn't think he'd chosen JT simply cause he thought he'd have a better chance to win if we was with Erinn. That was cold and although showed honesty, it also showed disloyalty... and at the end of the show... loyalty is a huge deciding factor!!!

Oh, trust Coach to find ways to make the show about him, lol. Honestly, that stupid thing took so much time Probst had to rush through the rest of the questions. Passing a lie detector test could just mean that he's so cuckoo he actually believes his lies.

No doubt he believes his own lies or exeragations! Gives new meaning to the phrase..."blown out of porportion"!!! Thing is.. it sure wasted ALOT of time in the show... why the editors chose to keep so much of that mudclups menagerie of quips, quotes and other moronic sayings, is beyond me! I don't think it did anything for the show but give us something to chat about here on mylot! Sure didn't do any favors for the show! I know I would have rather seen other things the survivors were doing around camp!

I know we thought it was a little over the top. I highly doubt many people cared about the lie detector test. We pretty much had our own opinions about his "life experiences" in my house. I guess he will do anything to get attention.

Coach is all about the attention. I think that he used that as an opportunity to just get more time in the spotlight since he wasn't the winner.

Lie detector test is bogus.

I actually thought Stephen gave good answers, but you could tell that he was so calculated, his answers so well thought out (can't fault the guy for being smart) that you had to doubt his sincerity. JT, on the other hand, didn't give safe answers (you could see some of the jury's expressions - scrunched eyebrows, eyes widening, questioning looks, but then again they might just have had a hard time making out what he was saying. I know I did, lol), but everybody could tell he was just being honest.
I actually expected Sierra (or Brendan) to be one of the faves just from how we've all been discussing the show here, lol

I actually missed most of the jury questioning, unfortunately (I had been up since 4:30 that morning and dozed off during a commercial ). So it is very interesting to hear more about it.

I didn't think Stephens answers were good. He seemed to be squirming and trying to think of the best way to answer before he actually did.

I was impressed that he actually fessed up and said that he would take Erin to the end if he had won.

JT just answered honestly. He didn't put alot of calcualtion into his answers.

Me too. I wish they had stuck to their original Jalapao alliance. Coach can keep on taking lie detector tests and nobody would still believe him. He'd be like the boy who cried wolf, one day he might just be finally captured and beaten by natives or aliens or Sierra and we'd all still say he's a liar, lol:D

I was surprised too that Coach wasn't a little more, how should I say it nicely... beligerantly-self righteous in his final questioning! He was all mouth all 30+ days... why'd he stop at final Tribal Council!???! I think they voted Taj out first as they figured...if between her and either of them at final 2 - she'd get the votes as everyone either liked her or had no problem with her yet at least a few didn't like or had problems with Erinn.

That's true, Taj was the bigger threat... but maybe it would have been interesting to see how powerful the appeal of a cowboy really is, lol

Yeah, that 3 of the Jalapao people (plus a non-threatening Timbiran) were in the final four was impressive.

Oh yeah... and once I saw JT all clean-shaven I could see what a hunk he really is. I think agents and casting directors will be ringing his phone off the hook.

Yeah, too bad about the exile island alliance. Things probably would have turned out more interesting if that had been upheld.
