My friend, has a husband that has been going through a mid life crisis for the past 20 years. Now in his seventies he is still such a charming womaniser and ladies of all ages chase him so much despite his age. He is also very wealthy. He doesn't chase - he just chooses. And he really is a charmer. When you talk to him he makes you feel that he is so interested in what you have to say and he gives you his complete undivided attention. Anyway, I asked her why she wanted to come back as a Jamaican and then she explained. He grew up in an era where boys were preferred over girls and they were spoilt and cossetted by their mothers and over indulged by their fathers. Wives of her era expected their husbands to have flings or a mistress. Often the wife and the mistress knew each other and sometimes the man had two homes. Isn't hat nice for him? It wasn't all hunky dory with the wife but unless she had independant means then she put up with it. I calmed her down and she knows that he is not going to change so she went away feeling resigned I suppose to how he is. Thank God things have changed! My question is, if you could come back to earth after death, who or what would you want to be?

I would want to come back as someone who could do something good for the world, perhaps discover a cure for a disease or something like that.

Wow! I didn't know people did that kind of thing in real life. I mean the out right adultery. In the US, most men keep their adultery secret for fear of being sued for divorce by their wife. Have you ever seen that show, 'Big Love' on HBO? It's about a guy who has three wives. It's a really funny show. One of my favorite. I can't imagine actually ever living that way. I'm a very jealous person and would never put up with it. As for an after life, I'm hoping to be in heaven. If I could have chosen to be born as anyone else or be reincarnated in another time or another place, I would have chosen wrongly. Glad the decision was made for me.

I am a Christian too! This was a tongue in cheek question. Also this was in a previous generation but I have to tell you that although this doesn't go on so much it is still a macho society. This also is changing as younger women will. quite rightly, not put up with it. But these are the professional ones with careers outside of the home. The woman who are dependant on their husband's do oftern turn a bind eye as it were. Regretfully, I do not get HBO as I would have loved to have seen the show.

I am not sure! That is a tough question..I thought at one time I would like to come back as a dog.....of course with a good family so I could just lay around and keep the family company and offer them alot of love....but now I don't know...I don't want my life to end by getting hit by a car! LOL....

Hmm.. good question. On one hand I'd like to be some sort of animal. Not sure which, but I won't give it too much thought as it's too dangerous to be an animal right now. Their habitats are threatened, and they're hunted for their fur, or bones, or other parts. Not to mention, almost every animal has a natural predator aside from man. So, I think I'd just rather come back as a rich person, so that I can use my wealth to help put a stop to cruelty to animals. I'd use my wealth for every issue I believe in, and donate as much as I could. Also it would be nice to live a more luxurious lifestyle!

Oh this is lovely. I too would love to do more. I do as much as I can by begging for the children's homes we look after (my Church). I would love to get them vitamins and not the outdated ones that we get free from the developed countries like your. when we visit it is torture to see how little they have. 2 years ago I was begging soft toys for them to cuddle. 30 physically and mentally handicapped children = totally defenceless. Now we have another home as many have lived long enough to become teenagers and ths is a mega problem as when they do not get enough to eat they become angry. They don't understand why there is so little food. A better lifestyle is good too. There is nothing wrong in being rich - as long as we give to those who no htought of their own cannot help themselves. Many blessings

I always have said that I would want to come back as a man in my next life. They seem to have it easier than women. Most women have to do all the cooking and cleaning and taking care of the children. Not to mention we women have more mental problems and physical ailments in life then men do. Men have it easy for the most part.

I so agree with you. I think that men have it easier too. Women have to do so mnay jobs that itis a juggling act - and on top of that we are ewxpected to look good all of the time too.
