I have never really been too much into ice cream. I have my moods when I want it, but for the most part I can leave it alone. Frozen Custard on the other hand is so much better. I don't have to have it, but I want it more often than ice cream. Do you like frozen custard? DO you prefer it to ice cream?

Not sure I've had it.. what's the difference? I was raised on frozen yogurt.. is that similar? Frozen yogurt is something I had to aquire a taste for, I would have prefered ice cream. But I am not much into frozen desserts of any sort really. I'd rather have a few cookies or something. The only time I really crave ice cream is on a really hot day. I usually reach for a pint of Ben and Jerry's.

According to my hubby it's creamier than ice cream & it's made with eggs in addition to the ingredients found in ice cream if I recall correctly.

We had a custard place around here before, but they closed down and are gone now. I know I've ordered from them, but not certain I got custard. I'm sure they served ice cream as well, and since I wasn't expecting anything different, I didn't take any notice of what I got, so long as it tasted good. Plus it's been years since I had it, so even if it had been custard, I doubt I'd remember. Actually, when hubby and I went on our first date we stopped at that custard place. Ahh, the memories. It's a shame they closed!

Not really a big sweet eater. I've had Drewes. It's fine, if a bit over priced. I think I prefer a scoop of ice cream.

I normally just go for the plain cone at Ted Drew's. It is not a bad price.

To me it's really the same. I don't notice that much of a difference in the flavors or how creamy or anything like that. Though I do know that you have to go to a custard stand usually to pick it up, unlike ice cream you can go to any grocery store, restaurant, gas station to get one. We have many custard stands in the area so plenty to pick from. Though Leon's is the only one that's so famous around here that it's basically considered a historical landmark!

I don't prefer it to ice cream, but it is great. The best is in Indiana. The Frozen Custard is AMAZING!!!! Every time I go to visit my dad up there, I have to have it.

The best here in St. Louis is Ted Drew's.
