socomsargent (156) | 8 months ago | If you ever buy a plasma, make sure you get the correct one, because if you read my post on this discussion, you will see what I said about my uncles plasma. You don't need to read it, just thought I'd warn you, in case you didn't already know about it.

2. socomsargent (156) | 8 months ago | No, I do not have an LCD monitor, I would maybe like to have one, but can't be sure, some of them don't have that clear picture, like high definition plasma screen TVs. My uncle has a high definition plasma or LCD screen, and he bought a blue ray player with it, and when you watch normal channels, the quality is horrible, but when you watch high definition channels meant for the TV, then the picture quality becomes excellent and it feels like you are in the room, and same goes for when he has a blue ray DVD in the player.

3. net_ankit (510) | 8 months ago | I am not using LCD Monitor but I have seen many LCDs in our customers home and even my company where I working supplied many LCD Monitors to the customers. LCD Monitors are very good techology they are very good in clearity & gives very true & fantastic colour combinations. I can say if You re concern about reasonable price then you should buy VIEWSONIC or other wise you can buy Samsung LCD best.

5. williamjisir (13175) | 8 months ago | I use my laptop and it is LCD screen. I don't have to buy an extra one. I think that an LCD monitor is good as it can protect our eyes than the other types of monitor that we have today. As to the size, it depends on how big you prefer. If you use it to watch movies sometimes, then a 19-inch monitor is good enough. In fact, 17 inch is not small though.

6. rymebristol (1645) | 8 months ago | i use a 17" LCD monitor. there is a big difference when using LCD monitor to CRT monitor, there is less strain in the eyes, when i am using the CRT monitor before after using it for 4 to 6 hours i can feel that my eyes are so tired, but with the LCD, i can go for as long as 12 hours and i don't feel a thing. i think 17" over 19" has no difference at all since it is both LCD the only difference is the size.

7. mnhthegreat (228) | 8 months ago | LCD monitors are really better than CRTs because they do not put so much strain on my eyes. With that their sharpness and clarity cannot be matched by any CRT and their thin frame also helps alot to place them on narrow computer desks. With that their prices have come down by half in the past 3 years. A 19 inch LCD is better in my opinion because there isnt much difference in their prices

8. prinzcy (2169) | 8 months ago | I still use my old CRT monitor since it still work well. I don't need to change it yet. Still, a LCD monitor is awesome. It's lighter and save more space. I would choose a 17' LCD monitor. 19' monitor is good but seems to big for me. I borrowed my cousin 17' LCD monitor before and it fit perfectly on my desk.

| 9. aupudhk (11) | 8 months ago | yap, I m using LCD monitors. in my office I m using a 17" LG LCD monitor and in house I m using 19" philips LCD monitor. But I think philips is better than LG monitor. It has the perfact color that we want for computer work and or watching movie. by this judgement i prefer Philips.

10. lingli_78 (10206) | 8 months ago | yes i did actually... not me, but my hubby... i myself am using a laptop... my hubby won't go back to the old CRT monitor anymore because he finds that the LCD monitor is much better resolution and also better for his eyes... i think the size of the monitor really depend on what you need... my hubby is only using the 17" one and is already more than enough... take care and have a nice day...
