| 2. onedaysoon (413) | 7 months ago |  I might watch it once in awhile, but I am not looking forward to him being the host. I never liked his show. It was too crude for me. I did not enjoy the humor. I assume he is going to tone it down for the Tonight Show, since the Tonight Show has never had the crude humor. I think he would ruin it if he didn't change his humor.
I can't see why they got rid of Jay Leno, since he was the number one in late night. I am kind of looking forward to Jay Leno's new show. It seems like it is going to be a mix of the stuff he does at the beginning, like Jaywalking and Headlines. I always liked those.

4.  anniepa (9161) | 7 months ago |  I'll probably watch Conan now and then but it won't be the same without Jay. Of course, I said the same thing when Johnny was leaving! I haven't really watched Conan on a regular basis but I have seen his show now and then and he's "OK" but I can't see him filling Jay's shoes. I'm very glad Jay will be on prime time in the fall.

I will also check him out...he's the guest on Friday, which I think is weird, but makes sense... anyway, I might check him out once... but my TV time goes to Jay this fall! Maybe I'll get some sleep this summer!! LOL!

I can't believe it's been 17 years; I still remember Johnny's last show like it was last week. I guess I'm really getting old, huh...lol? It was really cool to see all the kids of the staff members! I'm going to miss Jay until he returns in the fall. I love "Headlines" and "Jaywalking". I can't believe how DUMB some of those people are! Of course if I were ever interviewed by a famous TV personality and knew I was going to be on TV my brain would probably go numb and I wouldn't remember my own name.

| 5. MALTSHAKE (1) | 6 months ago |  I will absolutely NOT watch The Tonight Show with Conan. I can't even believe they put him in that chair! I am old enough to have watched Johnny for years and I think he would be rolling in his grave to know this man is taking over his job. He's the worst comedian (if you would call him that) they could have gotten to replace him. I couldn't even watch his interview Friday with Jay, just skipped over that part completely.
There goes my many faithful years of watching The Tonight Show. Hello Late Show with Letterman!

"Well, I ran off another competator!" or somethign similar.. it was a jab, but kinda funny. We used to watch Letterman. Then he got crass.. what will we all do this summer??? | |
