 What are your favorite things to bake? DO you like baking all the time or just for the holidays? I like baking anytime. I like making different kinds of pies and cookies. Some people just like making pumpkin rolls on holidays. I like making them when my family wants them. Or even for a surprise when my family has had a long day. I like to make something special.

making cookies takes way too much time I find and so I still rather make a cake when I have the time to.

I rarely want to bake in the summer because I live in the south and it's so hot here that I can't stand to have the oven on.
My favorite time to bake is in the winter, with the fire-place crackling away and an old sitcom on the TV.
I don't bake much anymore because I am my best customer when it comes to the bake-goods. Sometimes, when I just can't stand it anymore, I'll go on a baking binge, then pack everything up and send it to work with my husband.

I love fireplaces they are so relaxing in the winter. LOL there isn't anything wrong with baking like that. Have you ever tried to sell any of your baked goods? My mom does that. People request stuff all the time for her to make. Her pumpkin rolls go so fast. I told my mom she needs to open her own bake shop. She would get a lot of sales. | |

| 4. thea09 (4395) | 6 months ago |  I like to do a massive bake at one time and freeze lots, I will have chocolate cake, lemon cake, fruit cakes, ginger biscuits and cinnamon biscuits all on the go at one time, I have to be in the mood and invariably do so much at once that I run out of some key ingredient and have to improvise. One disaster with eccles cakes, I'm a dud at pastry, turned into some of the best fruit biscuits ever without a recipe. Home baking is really appreciated even though I hardly eat any of it myself.

I like ginger snap cookies always have. I need to make stuff and freeze it to but I never seem to get the chance to because it gets ate up as fast as I make it. | |
