Do you like to live in a country or City? | | I am just wondering which you would prefer most to live when you retire from your job. Is it in the countryside or provincial life where you can get fresh air all the time, wake up by greeting the sun shine shine and bright new day, relaxing and adorable views within your eyes, away from the pollution, crowd and vehicles? Don't you wanna live forever in a quiet place where it's like vacation everyday and very relaxing. Or maybe you just prefer the city life because you want more fun in your life and you always like noise and mingle with people around you especially go outing, shopping, etc.

In the city, you will see everything, luxury, entertainment and everything that you are looking for. I love going into shopping malls and hanging out with my friend on the bar. Yeah they say city is a polluted place but there is an option where to live behind that city. I lived in a city which is full of trees and good environment so it's up to you to choose whether you want. Thanks and have a nice day!

I am also an animal lover so the country is best for a person like me. I will probably own dogs and plenty of other critters for as long as I am able throughout my life. I'd lie to have a place to relax and enjoy nature...not cars driving by and police sirens in the distance...the sound of birds singing is much more appealing.:)

The country was much more peaceful, people were friendlier and the all around community was much more together. On the downside you had to walk a mile to get any sort of mobile phone reception, post office or food store. The city everything was much more at your finger tips. Lollies were 10 minutes away, Food stores were bigger, closer and had more in stock and the phone reception was always at full bars. The downside to the city is if you say hi to a random bypasser they will never say hi back like the good ole country folk and it was much harder to settle into city places because everything was so much more rushed and no one had any time to stop and smell the petrol fumes.
so i'd say if im trying to make money and conform with the fast moving crowd i would live in the city. But the country has a lot more to offer in the ways of a peaceful atmosphere and cozy living. Sounds like a vacation place to me.

I would nor mind it as much if there was some countryside nearby. But I would not want to live the quiet life everyday, I would get bored very easy I think. Maybe when I get a bit older I will move away to somewhere more peaceful.

Living in a country would, for me, be very boring as I wouldn't know what to do with myself (aside from in-taking the beauty of nature) I wouldn't mind a cottage tho, a place to get away from the crazy city life.. however I wouldn't chose to live in the country forever.
