I am just wondering which you would prefer most to live when you retire from your job. Is it in the countryside or provincial life where you can get fresh air all the time, wake up by greeting the sun shine shine and bright new day, relaxing and adorable views within your eyes, away from the pollution, crowd and vehicles? Don't you wanna live forever in a quiet place where it's like vacation everyday and very relaxing. Or maybe you just prefer the city life because you want more fun in your life and you always like noise and mingle with people around you especially go outing, shopping, etc.

hmmm I grew up in the city so for me I'd rather to live in the city. In the city, you will see everything, luxury, entertainment and everything that you are looking for. I love going into shopping malls and hanging out with my friend on the bar. Yeah they say city is a polluted place but there is an option where to live behind that city. I lived in a city which is full of trees and good environment so it's up to you to choose whether you want. Thanks and have a nice day!

I love the country or someplace wooded. I don't want to be near all of the city comotion. It would be wonderful to retire to someplace quiet and remote. I am also an animal lover so the country is best for a person like me. I will probably own dogs and plenty of other critters for as long as I am able throughout my life. I'd lie to have a place to relax and enjoy nature...not cars driving by and police sirens in the distance...the sound of birds singing is much more appealing.:)

Ya i agree with you. It more appealing to live in the country but depending on the situation also. Better get a small cute puppy like mine.

A country side would be a cool place to live. You can be away from all the city noise and pollution. If you need to buy food or anything, You could just take your car there. Plus it would be very quiet and peaceful.

I prefer Provincial side, why because my family's bloodline is from the province so if one of my family member retires i would make proper arrangements so if we go back to the province its all preped up. of course occasionally we would go to the city for a day or two to visit some family members.

I grew up in the city but took a lot of the time to go see the country because my parents were country folk. The country was much more peaceful, people were friendlier and the all around community was much more together. On the downside you had to walk a mile to get any sort of mobile phone reception, post office or food store. The city everything was much more at your finger tips. Lollies were 10 minutes away, Food stores were bigger, closer and had more in stock and the phone reception was always at full bars. The downside to the city is if you say hi to a random bypasser they will never say hi back like the good ole country folk and it was much harder to settle into city places because everything was so much more rushed and no one had any time to stop and smell the petrol fumes.

so i'd say if im trying to make money and conform with the fast moving crowd i would live in the city. But the country has a lot more to offer in the ways of a peaceful atmosphere and cozy living. Sounds like a vacation place to me.

I live in the centre of a town with a population of around 30,000 people. There is really nowhere I can go and get away from all the crowd. I would nor mind it as much if there was some countryside nearby. But I would not want to live the quiet life everyday, I would get bored very easy I think. Maybe when I get a bit older I will move away to somewhere more peaceful.

I hope I live in the city and occasionally I visit the countryside.I like shoping, getting on the internet, more fun in my life. But staying in the city too long I will fed up with that life,I will visit the countryside where I can get fresh air, wake up by greeting the sun shine and bright new day, relaxing and adorable views within my eyes.It is perfect to me .

I am 43 yeas old, and I have about 25 years left to work offline..and I could not wait until then to live out in countryside. I found a great appartment (4 rooms) in a house. I have a washingmashine on my own, I have a big garden, I have a veranda and a terrace where I can sit even if it rains. I only pay rent, and if anything brakes I call the landlord. I have no shops nearby and need to take the bus (no driverlicense) when I need to shop, that is once a week. w00t
It might sounds crazy that a young woman like me already find her self on the countryside. But I really like the peace and silence I have here. There is three more houses like this and we live two familys in each house. So it is pretty calm her. And I love it. lol

I grew up in the city so i'm used to the noise, people, high rise building and cars. Living in a country would, for me, be very boring as I wouldn't know what to do with myself (aside from in-taking the beauty of nature) I wouldn't mind a cottage tho, a place to get away from the crazy city life.. however I wouldn't chose to live in the country forever.
