HI there: I did see them this morning on the news along with Susan's performance I figured they show both of them again; Diversity had a really good number that they had done; it was quite good!!

HI Gabs, how are you sweetheart?? Yes I agree, I missed the performance this morning on the news, I was all set to watch it and had to leave EARLY and head out to the farm, we were cleaning Catfish this morning, only 10 more of them, we cleaned 11 just the other day; But yes I truly do love her voice and later on I plan on doing some searching here on the internet to see and watch her performance last night I'm sure its on here somewhere already.. if you hear of her singing or making a CD of some kind will you post about it here for us? I know there are others here on mylot that also love that voice of hers; I hope you are doing well; Love & hugs to you!!!

Hi Pye: I know, I was so hoping she'd win, there are all sorts of articles popping up on the internet now about the show, but so what if she did or maybe didn't make a bit of a blunder singing, I've not watched the video clip, big friggin deal! Her voice just gave me the chills each and every time I heard her sing;

Yeah if the Americans had been allowed to vote I'm sure she would have won it then; She is/was AWESOME!!!! I love to sing myself here in privacy but I could never ever do something like that in front of an audience much less in front of MILLIONS WORLDWIDE... I'd be a big puddle of goo on the floor...LOL!!

Yes, I'm a singer, too. I'm not shy at all. If you were to ask me to stand up and sing a solo, I would do it. I love to sing! I majored in music (voice) in college. I didn't finish college, though. I made a record one time back in the '70s but it didn't make a hit. I went to Muscle Shoals, Alabama and made this record, as a matter of fact. I wanted to be a professional singer so bad!I don't mean to be negative but it's hard to get a break in the music business. I also auditioned for a job at Opryland three times and never made it. I also auditioned for a job at Six Flags Over Georgia one time and didn't make it. I never did give up, though. I would much rather sing at a place like this than in some nightclub or bar, where most singers get their start. I still sing at one nursing home and one assisted living facility every month. As a matter of fact, I'm going to sing at the nursing home tomorrow. No, I don't have anything on youtube yet. I need to learn how it's done before I can get a video on there. I was new to youtube when I first got this computer in February. I also play the guitar, piano, and harmonica, btw. Kathy.

well you multi-talented woman you: That's amazing!! Have you ever sung at a Wedding for anyone, family or friend? That's nice that you do go out and sing at the places you do, I'm sure they all enjoy seeing and hearing you play, and sing to them; When I was young I had a piano, and I learned to play it, and I also played by ear, I bet I couldn't play chopsticks now its been so many many many years; I miss my piano!!

HI ya Kats; Yeah I know what you mean, for me she is the winner as soon as I heard her belt out that first song she did, OH MY GGGAAWWWDDD!! She still just gives me the "chills" when I hear that voice of hers, truly amazing!! Heck I'd buy her CD or download or watch it on YOU TUBE or where ever..ya know?
