do you like valentines day?

I don't make a huge deal out of it or anything. It is hard to make plans when you have three kids. I usually cook an extra special dinner, and the kids are there with us. I guess what I like about Valentine's Day is that I kno I am going to get some carnations from my husband, I love carnations, and that is pretty much the only time I ever get them.

I agree with your comments about not needing a special day to show someone that you care. Valentine's day is of no consequence to me at all.

If i have a special someone to celebrate it with then i do like it. If i have no one to celebrate it with its kinda upsetting to me because i am the person who hates seeing couples out and wanting to be like them. I was in a relationship for two years and it just ended three weeks ago and i had a blast with him and it was great til the end so i think valentines is important and if you are in a relationship it should be celebrated and to give something from the heart to the one you love. I think showing the one you care about them and giving something to them is important because not everyday you can do this and one day out of the year might mean something to someone.

I am not a big fan of Valentine's day because like you said it is very commercialized. It puts so much pressure on couples to do something special for each other to show their love. I think if you really love someone you show them everyday and you make them feel special and loved all year long and don;t need one day to do so.

Yes i do, but the only thing is, i dont like to have girl friends, but i like valentines day, i know its a typical thinking, but what to do, i dont like girl friends, because i have seen many of my frends, who were very good, but after having girlfrends, they get spoiled and they inspired me not to make girl frends, so i dont like to have, but i like valentines day, its a lovely day, but i believe its a dangerous day, many lovers do suicide for failure of their proposals, many hearts gets broke, and many eyes get wet, so its a red day;, means a dangerous day.

My boyfriend really had no idea how to celebrate valentines day. Ironically his name is Valentine. . I don't mind about it anyway because he says 'I LOVE YOU' everyday to me and kiss me on the forehead. That is romantic enough for me, he don't need to buy expensive present though.
