How much money do you spend for a baby shower gift?  | |  How much money do you spend for a baby shower gift? I know sometimes it depends on how much money you're making but for example, I spent $20 and bought a blanket that was for a cousin's wife I didn't even like. For one of my good friends, I bought a bunch of baby rattles and toys that were cutsie for under $10. I personally liked the fact that I bought a lot for under $10 as a gift and I thought they were precious. The blanket was okay but not something I felt was personal. So how much do you spend and do you give personal gifts or will anything do?

But if they're not related to me, I'd just buy something for the sake of buying one. I know it's pretty selfish, but who cares.

I would by this little baby pillows that looked like a birth certificate for around $3, the cost wasn't much, but everyone seemed to just love it. Then I would buy a pack of onesies, because it seems like everyone can use as many of those as they can get. I think all in all, it's the thought that counts. Have a great day!
