Which ways of cooking do you like the most? |
|
For those of you click in this discussion probably likes to cook:-) Let's talk about how do you like to cook? Cooking on the stove? Bake in the oven? Grill on the grill?
I think I mostly do cooking on the stove, second is baking in the oven and I have my hubby use the grill once in a wihle, just like tonight, we are going to have grill steak, yum yum yum!!!:-D I cook lots of food on the grill, when I use the oven, I usually use it to bake a whole chicken, melt the cheese or do real bakings.
What about you? Which one is your favourite?

1. PeacefulWmn9 (2616) | 7 months ago | I do most of the cooking on the stove. I love meals that I can make using just one or two pans. Easy clean-up. I also use the crockpot for roasts and stews and such. I bake sometimes, using the oven, of course. I no longer have a grill, but used to that in the summer time.
Happy cooking.

3. marguicha (3490) | 7 months ago | I cook mostly over the range. I also have a small electric oven where I can even put a whole chicken to roast. What I DO NOT like is mucrowave cooking. The flours get soggy, the outside cooks different than the inside, the taste is different. I only use that once in a while to heat food in a hurry.

mermaidivy (3291) | 7 months ago | I don't like microwave food too, it kills the nutrient in the food and it dries out the food.

5. Sandra1952 (1453) | 7 months ago | We live in Spain, and I make a lot of one pot stews. Spanish stews, while filling, are light enough to eat in the summer, as there are beans and chick peas in them, but little meat. They are also quite low in fat.
Next to one pot dishes on the hob, I barbecue a lot. We have a terrace off the living room which looks across to the mountains, and we have a big gas barbecue there. As there are only two of us, when we have a barbecue, we cook extra chicken or pork to have cold with salad the following day.

6. peavey (3738) | 7 months ago | I like to bake as well as cook on the stove top. I don't grill, but do some meats in the oven that tastes about the same. I have a roaster oven in the garage that I use when the weather is hot.

| 7. sherono (96) | 7 months ago | I like to use the stove mostly. I try not to use the oven in the summer. Too hot. We usually grill in the summer-well my husband does. He can grill just about anything! It's not uncommon for us to use the grill 3 to 4 times a week in the summer. Some in the winter too. I do like oven food in the winter, like meatloaf, chicken, beef or pork roast. I bake alot in the winter. I love to bake cookies!!!
