sudden success/popularity of the Green Party in England/Britain.  

i'll probaly vote for them. don't think they can really make things worse

It could be in the realms of possibility that the Greens could be running the country. Unfortunately, they probably don't appeal enough to people's self-interest. But maybe consumers are fed up with being consumers and want to live as people again. If everyone started talking to their neighbours more and were more community minded, we could all be a lot happier, with much less money! The way the present government has got the country into so much debt, it is a certainty that taxed will be zooming up in the near future, certainly after the next general elections!

The Greens have been putting together policies for everything across the board for some years now, as well as having annual conferences to thrash out the direction of these and have quite a strong network. It's time they got elected!
