Remember or have we forgotten Congress could not even run their cafeteria, they had to privatize the cafeteria just to save it. I remember an IRS official posting tax fillings of sport starts. Now we have this store that government accidentally posted on the Internet a list of all civilian nuclear sites and their activities in the United States which some happen to be marked highly confidential safeguards sensitive. Social Security and Medicare will soon be bankrupt. Government does some things successfully just have not discovered what that might be. Yet we have people who want government to manage health care.

Our government is inept, and it got a lot worse under our moron in chief. There is nothing that the government can do better than the private sector, and that includes running GM. The goal is full blown socialism and the government completely in charge of everything. That goes against everything America was founded upon, and the time has come to smack the government down.

I know it. It is such a mess right now and I do not expect it to get any better any time soon. I don't think we will ever get affordable healthcare in the U.S. I have almost given up on it. It is sickening.

The problems you listed are very valid concerns. Taxpayer money is already being badly mishandled. Anyone who looks at Medicaid and Medicare can see how badly the government manages health care. Already, there has been major discussion about raising taxes, and taxing health care (which is bad for those with private insurance and small business). Just another burden the taxpayers and our great grandchildren have to bear on their shoulders. Looking at GM shows how bad it gets when the Government gets involved in private business. The HIPPA law will be thrown out the window. Don't be fooled this recession hasn't ended despite what the analysts say. Just look at the unemployment numbers still going up and still more layoffs are looming ahead. Social security is broke and it won't be long before the government will be sending out IOUs instead of tax rebates. So before anyone tells me that this is a really good idea, they will have to justify the money issues first.
