I love my brother

Oh yes, I would do anything for my siblings. And honestly, even the majority of siblings who fight like cats and dogs would do the same for one another. A point given, my niece and nephew, 7 years apart in age, did not get along at all. Honestly, I tended to side with my niece, as my nephew was very hyper and very bratty. Anyhow, they were staying with my sister in law in a big city, a far cry from the country life they were used to. Anyhow, the sister in law had left them in care of a babysitter and the babysitter had taken the kids somewhere, I don't know where, but the nephew went into his little wild antics. According to my niece the babysitter told the nephew repeatedly to calm down, when he wouldn't she gave him one last warning, settle down or he was going to be kicked out of the car. Of course, my niece thought the babysitter was kidding. But when she pulled the car over to the side of the road and dragged my nephew out of the car and left him on the sidewalk my niece freaked out. The next stop at a redlight my niece jumped from the car and ran to her brother. Neither one of the kids knew where they were, didn't even know how to get hold of their mother. Another sister was involved to. She was a year older than the boy, the oldest sister had to do what she felt was safest and that was leaving the little sister to care for the little brother. It was really surprising to the mother as she looked at her oldest daughter as being very self centered and not caring at all for her brother or sister. She learned something new that day.

I love my brother too. He is six years older than me.
We got along fine and we seldom quarrel. Were the best of buddies.

Brothers and sisters love each other like nothing else. My mom had to work, too, but luckily it was when we were older and a sitter just came in after school. I'm sorry you had to go through that--did you ever tell your mom? If not, I wouldn't now. She felt guilty enough and that would cause her needless pain. It's awful when children are force into the care of cruel adults.

My brother and I fought like cats and dogs, too. He did me many little kindnesses, though, despite doing things like tying me to a tree and leaving me there!

When I was in high school I wanted to badly to go in an International Field Studies trip to the Bahamas to learn to scuba dive. Mom was barely keeping a roof over our heads and I didn't know how in the world she came up with the money. I learned about ten years ago (nearly 30 years later) that my brother took the money from an account he had that he was saving for a car. He told Mom not to tell me where it came from.

I've always wanted to repay him--not the money, but an act of love as big as his. Whenever I can, I will.

Let me put it this way, that woman would never have threatened either of us again. I am the oldest and if someone had done something like that to my younger brother they would still be having nightmares about me today.

well!! i have to say something about my bro!!espeacilly today...!!because today is his bday....:)i gifted him a gold watch...which he likes it so much....i just love my bro....i fights with him often...which is the best thing i enjoy with him....he always encourages me in my studies....he is my role model....who takes immense care on me.....:)

Hi friend I must congrat you for your right action. We must have love for brothers and sisters and must respect each others feelings too. This makes the feeling that we are one. My parents always gave me this sort of teaching.
