I do think it's silly. I haven't seen that at all, so it is interesting. I guess maybe it is designed to help you stay alseep once you get to sleep?
I too would think that if you were using a sleeping aid that you would want to be drowsy prior to trying to go to sleep.

A non drowsy sleep aid? Are you serious? I guess it depends on the sleep aid though. I have taken herbal things to help me sleep and didn't feel that "drunk" feeling. Shhh told tell but I missed it.

That does sound odd. I'm sure it's because they feel like they have to cover themselves because there's always one person who would take it and then go out driving, then sue because they weren't warned about the effects of the medication.

Remember the woman who sued McDonald's because she spilled her coffee and burned herself? Now all of their cups have a warning on them 'contents hot.' As if people need to be warned that their coffee is hot. Should be understood unless you ordered iced coffee.

My favorite is Claritin which advertises that it is 'non-drowsy,' yet fatigue is listed in the side effects, among the first few. Kind of the same thing, isn't it?

Silly indeed, i guess part of feeling sleepy you would feel a bit drowsy as a result of getting to sleep.

If you think thats funny, i have acid reflux/gerd and one of the meds i was prescribed had a side effect stomach upset and heartburn...um isn't that what i was taking the med to prevent??

That's about the worst sell for a product I've ever seen. I like the warning labels more, like on a hair dryer it says, "Do Not Use While Sleeping". Hmm, okay. I guess it you don't want to fall asleep you should use that product and a hair dryer. Who lets this stuff into our capitalist market?

It's silly, alright. I remember receiving an e-mail with the title "Humanity Is Doomed to Extinction because of Stupidity." It was a joke that listed products with stupid labels or product information. Maybe we could add this sleeping pill to the list.

That's really weird. lol! It's like a solar-powered flashlight! Well maybe the drug wants you to drop dead sleep in an instant without feeling drowsy but that would be too dangerous especially if you just take it while walking on stairs on your way up to your room. lol!
