Do you have patience with your oil change service?

Well, I learned how to add (if that is the same thing as "changing") oil to a car.

It doesn't seem that difficult; why do you need a professional to do it, really?

I would sit through every grueling minute of the oil change, than give one more hard earned dollar to them. Did you notice that the tire disposal fee has gone from $1.00 to $2.00? Is their landfill paved in gold now or what? Thank you for letting me unload on this discussion.

I have a brilliant mechanic who comes to the house (or my place of work) & just deals with everything... either on the spot or he takes my car, does the job and returns it. He always turns up when he says he will. Today, he came to my work, got the keys, gave me a lift to the hospital, went to collect the part, came back to the car park & fixed my car, went home, then met me in the car park after I finished work to return my keys (& collect his cheque.) So, if he did an oil change it would be as part of a service and he'd do it whilst i was getting on with something else.

Absolutely you should not be going to the garage to get your oil changed dear. You need to see if some nice young man in your neighbourhood can do it for you. Young men are very handy at doing this nasty kind of job for you and you just need to act a bit helpless. Then you won't have to waste your time at the garage. A pretty young thing should always try to get a nice young man to do these things for her. He will be very happy to do it for you I'm sure and then you can bake him a cake. It always worked in my day dear and the old methods are the best.
