Is it wrong to brush your teeth in the Shower???

Yes you are right, killing two birds with one stone. Imagine how much water you can save when you brush your teeth while taking a shower. I do not see anything wrong with it. Perhaps he has some other reasons why he gets annoyed with it. So, why not ask him again....

I have never thought of that. That is a great idea! It makes perfect sense.

My husband and I both do that. I dont really understand how it would be a problem. How is it any different than brushing your teeth while standing at the sink?

Unless of course you are looking at it from a strictly ecological standpoint. Than it could be considered a waste of water. You dont need the water pouring over you while you brush. But when you shower with someone else, that is never a problem!!

Yes I always do that. I even shampoo my hair or condition my hair while brushing my teeth in the shower. I guess there's nothing wrong with it especially when you are in a hurry of love multi tasking. But it depends if your in a shower with someone. He or she might not want to see something floating while showering.

I use to brush my teeth in the shower but I have gotten away from that habit because I no longer have my own bathroom, I share the bathroom with my roommate and girlfriend. I now prefer not to brush my teeth in the same shower they use. I know we all use the same sink but I don't leave my toothbrush out on the sink like I would when I had my own bathroom, I put it in the medicine cabinet covered up.

Maybe your husband thinks it's dirty to leave your toothbrush in the shower because of all the germs or mildew that can be in the shower.

It sounds gross and nasty to me. You spit it out in the shower, what if you step in it or it hits your foot. I would rather wake up a minute earlier and bruch the at the bathroom sink and the sanitizer the sink and clean the mirror if i splashed it.

Yes I used to brush my teeth in the shower and just like you I don't see anything wrong with that. I can save time because I can do two things at the same time.

I just recently do this and I've got the idea from one of my responses in my discussion. But what I normally do is brush my teeth after I put conditioner on my hair and leave the conditioner soak into my hair while brushing my teeth. And my Husband is doing the same, except on the weekend. It saves him some time specially if he's running late to go to work.

I have never thought of doing that but I don't see anything wrong with it, In my house we only have 1 bathroom to share with my wife and 3 kids so sometimes it is hard to do everything in there. Brushing your teeth in the shower just frees up the sink so someone else can use it. If I can't get into the bathroom to brush my teeth sometimes I go into the kitchen and use the sink there. We also wash our hair there if we don't have time to take a shower. I would keep brushing your teeth in the shower if I were you.
