How Many Hours Do You Spend on the Internet?  |

 Hey guys, I am having a hard time lately to pull myself away from the computer. It's quite worrying because its affecting my other hobbies like reading and writing and especially my alone time with my boyfriend. I am not very good at time management and I couldn't draw the lines between internet priorities and personal priorities.
How about you guys? Do you have a definite time when you just sit down and do your internet work undisturbed? Or do you do it everytime, just going back and forth in the internet? How much time do you spend in front of your computer?
I have a full time job and school and my internet surfing is quite affecting these as well. Please let me know how you manage your internet/computer time,.

1.  Preciousgem (1096) | 5 months ago |  When i am not too busy I spent 8- 12 hours doing my lot and checking my yahoo mails and friendster, if i am alone in the house, if everybody in the house i prefer 1- 4 hours to priorities the other user and do my house chores.

3.  anna04 (146) | 5 months ago |  During vacations, I spent 6-8 hours in the net because I have nothing else to do anyway and my family and I don't always go outside and travel all over the place lulz. But during school days, I only spent 3-4 hours because studies are important for me hahaha well that's just me. Hmm managing time with the PC is a bit hard...I mean, I really count how long I should stay in front of the PC and I always share the PC with my other siblings so I guess technically, there are rounds in using the PC in my place.
If you want to have a schedule in using the PC, you should really make a schedule in everything you do. Like a routine more likely. Ask yourself what time of day you should use the PC, is it in the morning? Before going to school/university? During lunch? Or after your whole day is done? Decide what you think is the best to use the net.
You have a job so I guess you should spend your time using the PC around 2-4 hours with 2 hours as a minimum. I hope that helps you and good day to you.

Sometimes, especially during weekends, my boyfriend gets a little bit clingy and wants a lot of attention. It's always on the time I am on the internet and its not nice when we quarrel about the amount of time I spend in front of the computer. Oh well, priorities! | |

Now that I'm unemployed I'm back on internet a good 8 hours on and off all day doing work at home jobs and looking for work I even play online games in hopes to win some cash lol.

I started with a lot of other sites before but when I dont get the results that I wanted, i lose the mood for it. i hope ill be able to keep up with my mood here in mylot. Its so cool, like a big chatroom where you get to talk with a lot of people and get paid for it hahaha. | |

I am a full time housewife i usually online 5-8 hours a day. I am taking care of my 19 months old daughter so if i have a chance to get online i do. I have to make online that much because my hubby works abroad and this is the easiest way to communicate through internet. Usually i am online while my daughter was sleeping and have a chance to go online every night because she sleep at around 7 or 8 in the evening.
Time management is important like you - you said you have full time work work at the same time schooling, so its important to manage your time in your work, school, personal things and using computer properly.

If I have nothing to do I spend hours on here and since everyone in the house has a computer there's no fighting over it. When I'm working or doing anything else I don't get jittery and have it on my mind. But when I'm home and I have a choice of watching TV or doing this, well the TV doesn't even get turned on for background noise.

I do start it up first thing every morning to check my email, game sites, mylot and other similar sites I belong to. So my best "guesstamate" would be that I spend 60 hours per week on the computer and on the internet...YIKES! Maybe I need to get a life?
