I don't know if these count, but I'm going to mention some of my FAVORITE couples from MOVIES:
-Jamie & Landon from A Walk to Remember (Mandy Moore & Shane West)
-Holly Golightly & Paul Varjack from Breakfast at Tiffany's (Audrey Hepburn & George Peppard)
-Heath Ledger & Julia Stiles (not sure what their names are in the movie..RIP Heath!) in Seven Things I Hate About You!
I can't really think of any others. The only one that I have really from *back in the day* was the couple from Breakfast at Tiffany's. Otherwise the other two are new-er movies (at least in the last two decades anyway..) but cute couples nonetheless!
. I'm sure I'll think of more later.

For a duo on the big screen my choice would have to be Spencer Tracy and Kathryn Hepburn. I don't think anyone has equaled their on-screen chemistry ever since.
In history I would have to pick the ultimate power couple, Julius Caesar and Cleopatra. After Julius Caesar Mark Anthony was just a wannabe.
In literature I'll go for romance, Romeo and Juliet.
On the small screen my choice would have to be Tom and Jerry.
